I'll be very honest, i loved the story and the themes of this universe. However i couldn't sense any sort of chemistry from the leads, it felt super dry. On Ml's side it was all about possession while on the mc side gave instability. To me it didn't make sense how they kinda ended together, sure the ml came to mc's rescue countless times. But, their relation felt forceful.
I really enjoyed the dard psychological aspect of this story, the love story was the "only" part that seemed too stiff and not a least bit natural.
Is something wrong with me? i don't dislike the empress. I know she's a crazy maniac but idk why i like her so much.I hope she has a redemption arc, i feel super shitty for the emperor. Poor thing is being abused in every shape and form. He needs to move far away from all this fucking shit and just live for once. Ml and fl are cute, but im much more invested on the emperor and empress's story.
idk what i was expecting when i thought "Ilay must've changed after all that" when i decided to read the novel. Idk if there are more books, but after finishing book 1, ilay is just a psycho abuser. All the tact and grace he can show is him not killing mc. Literally, that's it.
If there are more books, can someone tell me if ilay ever treats mc with actual care and respect?
yes there are other books too and ilay is going to be so good in there. book 1 waa starting of their relationship and the ending is not satisfying cus id say it's js the starting when they move to Berlin but later on omgg ilay gonna turn green for taeui and taeui only. there are 6 books in passion series btw

Tbh like when i read the later stories i was a little disappointed that it felt that their poor communication barely changed like it seemed that there was gonna be more character development but then nothing really changed

i know it's going to raise my blood pressure a lot, I've read about 20 chapters. I have the following suspicious/questions:
- The blond kid with blue eyes that appeared in ml's dream, is their kid probably?.
- When will ML grow the f up? He has the literal chance of sitting down and communicating BUT he chooses to be a little bitch.
- Nina is such an eyesore i just want to know when she disappears.
whenever i read this, i get the sudden urge to save a tragic second male lead and figure out his tsundere ass and love him like he deserves.
