Call me crazy but Nick's art style is not my cup of tea, so I can't concentrate on the story at all. I barely got over 10 chapters....
I'm so glad they didn't show mc grow old while ml remained the same. Even if they implied it, it was a very cute story ngl. Probably going to re read it soon.
for me this is one of those stories which are very good if you binge them in one go but become extremely boring once you read them while it's ongoing. All i want to say is that: I OFFER MYSELF AS TRIBUTE FOR MY BOI JOSEPH, HE DESERVES ALLL THE HAPPINESS AND GOOD THINGS.
Going back to the story, the villain wasn't as satisfying as she could've been because at many points i was expecting her to stir shit up but she just stayed quite. Idk the demon lady was very dumb imo, she didn't see her evilness through. I really liked the fact that Cosette and the demon lady were two different beings and how the real one ended up helping her activate her magic. Idk, the ancient sisters helping them as a foreshadowing of Kiera and Cosette doing the same was very nice. But the interaction between these two didn't feel authentic idk. And i couldn't sense any chemistry between her and the ml, she had more chemistry with Joseph or even with the princess (lmao)
i was expecting comments about the story, some theories/spoilers, etc but i just say people talking about mayo on fries and pineapple on pizza.
I feel like Seatbyul, just fifth wheeling through life.
It's really fucked up how adults perpetuate this kind of discrimination and the kids being kids follow suit.
Im so glad i stumbled on this AFTER it ended. It was such a good story and build up. I really liked the merge of past and present story telling, but if i hadn't binged it i can imagine how frustrating it would've been. Honestly i wanted Hakyung to apologize to Yoonsung at some point, even though i know he was a victim himself, but i think yoonsung deserved at least a heartfelt apology along side an explanation of everything. I liked sister-in-law's character far more than i had expected. Grandpa's message at the end made cry hard. Idk how to put it, but it always felt that Yoonsung loved Hakyung waaaaaay more than Hayung loved him, but i guess it works because to Yoonsung that is more than enough.

This was such a good read. The plot is very interesting, im glad i picked this up after a long time. From chapter 150 onwards, the interactions between Penelope and her family, specially the duke made me choke up a little. I really like the duke, he may not be the perfect dad but he is a very good one. As for the leads, the slave made my blood boil and the Marquis has my pity. As for the prince, i find him funny i only like him because he's the better option and because Pen likes him.
I'm assuming we're near the ending soon.

Sad or not, Sunbae needs to go, learn how to communicate without manipulation and not break girls hearts just to get a reaction out of mc. People like him are honestly very disgusting. So no, I don't feel any sort of "empathy" for him.
This has been on my want to read list for at least 3-4 years now, somehow i couldn't get past chapter one because i expected everything to be very dramatic and filled with problems. I was so certain that i knew exactly how it was going to play out from JUST reading the first chapter that i missed reading this gem FOR 4 FUCKING YEARS. I'M SO GLAD THAT I DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY FOR LIKE THE 30TH TIME.

i had this on my already read list, read a few chapters of the new season i was genuinely shocked. I'll say it again, the author should've made another fucking story and instead of milking this one.
