It’s a repeat of chapter 4. :/

I rarely (if ever) ask for spoilers, but I keep wondering what entered Hirua during the lake trip and if that's dealt with soon. When will the secrets be revealed??

CuddleQuill April 17, 2024 3:10 pm

(My rant is about chapter 6.)

This was probably the first time I’ve ever (quietly) exclaimed, “How can she be so STUPID?! He JUST said there was a group at the event that deals with human trafficking! Why would you leave a venue with light and people around to go into a DARK, EMPTY hallway and leave yourself vulnerable to kidnapping?!”

Normally, I don’t get this annoyed by a character (since it’s just fiction, of course), but apparently what the marquess told her just flew away from that little pea-sized brain of hers a few minutes later. You would think she would have SOME wisdom about being around strangers after living as a commoner in a bad situation her whole life… She has the brain of a naïve noble girl POSING as a commoner now posing as a noble.

Okay, rant over. (。-_-。)

I'm actually wondering if she even has a brain.

They really should be labeled 24.1, 24.2, and 24.3 because they are in order. :)

Of course there's little to no information for a manhwa that has just started, which is written on the premise that the FL has NO IDEA what's going on. We, the readers, are in the same boat! We'll figure it out when she does unless there are some hints. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I guess I was one of the small few who preferred the purple dress. It had more of a gothic feel versus the generic light blue with a style we often see in these stories. And personally, I think the blue dress washed out the MC’s skin, hair, and eyes. It felt weird to look at, to be honest. The purple really made her shine, so I’m on the artist’s side for this matter.

…to HATE government schools. They always punish the savior and the victim, yet they let the bully off easy rather than discouraging bad behavior and encouraging people to protect themselves. And it’s even WORSE in this case because our MC was drugged and assaulted (not sure if he was r*ped). And yet our MC’s savior is treated the same as the TRASH who did something unforgivable??

And to make matters even worse, this ACTUALLY happens in reality.

I didn’t think so, to be honest. I’d just seen other people commenting that he had and got confused (hence my point of not being sure).

I adore blushing guys, and I find their relationship so adorable (and healthy)! A breath of fresh air, honestly. (▰˘◡˘▰)

I have no idea why people are saying the translations are [too] difficult to understand... Maybe it's because I'm so used to reading legitimately horrible translations with Chinese manhua that this seems totally understandable? Or maybe I'm just really good at figuring out context and my brain automatically fills in something that the translation is missing. Either way, I'm so relieved this isn't translated in the Chinese manhua style. Thank you for that, seriously!

I think the reason why chinese manhuas are so horribly translated is because chinese authors uses idioms a lot and some translators probably just based of from what the google translate says (the literal meaning of the idioms/proverbs) and also, there's not much translators who translated manhuas who actually know a lot about the Chinese language and their culture compared to Korean and Japanese Translators.

I've rarely read a wonderfully translated manhua, so sometimes I prefer reading the novels since there's actually a lot more decent novel translators than manhua translators LMAO

Same I honestly have no idea how this is bad. Not the best, sure, but bad? Not even near. Could be that english is like, my third language out of four so I'm not even that good in the first place to pick up minor grammatical errors? Anyway people should just be thankful someone even translate it to english machine translation from korea to english would be even more disastrous

I love chinese novels and manhuas so damn much but I hardly find those richly translated manhuas these days. It's just so funny when the plot is already so thick and intense but the dialogues felt like gibberish because of the translations
