There’s always an appeal to people who are very twisted. I like to read it because of his dynamics with other characters, but having all the characters beat Isagi so bad is a bit off putting just cuz it feels like the author just wants him to be the best. Obviously he had his failures earlier in the manga and is constantly trying to become a better player and better utilize his abilities on the field… it’s kind of weird since I like Isagi when he’s not in game mode. He seems pretty humble and a pretty chill guy but he’s like rage mode when he’s on the field. I know this whole damn manga is abt egos or wtv but I’ve never had that feeling in my life so I find it like kinda annoying when it’s being shoved up my nostrils every 2 seconds.

I read it cuz I already bought a cosplay for Chigiri and have already used it a couple times lol. I love him lol. I also like a lot of the characters. The main character is not always the reason why somebody keeps reading or drops the manga/book.

girl i was about to bash you for saying that you hate that isagi is the main character but after reading this idek what to say anymore, literally speechless bc wdym you've never felt "ego"?? that's basically saying you don't have any self worth and that you don't consider yourself to be a person. also "ego" is not a feeling nor emotion, it's your sense of personal identity and self importance. if you truly are suffering from this, then i am sorry and may god bless you, i hope you get better

Ngl, I probably have autism cuz I mask heavily… although I do well in school and get praised a lot, I have to make excuses in order for me to feel okay about what my successes were, like for example… I would be like these people in my class didn’t study the way I did or were just too dumb to see something I did see when it’s more like I studied my butt off for the exam. I probably need therapy too. Thanks for deciding not to bash me. I respect you

Ohh, no worries lol. Sorry for immediately jumping the gun- I love him too much. But imo him swirching from pretty chill to being a terror in the field isn't too far fetched, for example, I personally had few moments where I play first person shooting games and get really mad at teammates and opponents that I forget ethics, so I understand where he's coming from.

Also about ego, too relatable man. I also never realized how we're just supposed to follow it and it should be there?? Guess reading blue lock was a total eye opener
