that’s it. shit man. she was hauntingly beautiful this chapter, they captured that perfectly.
she would not care if you believe she deserved better, the second you bad mouth her mom she would punt you. lyrica loves her mother to an extent that y’all are refusing to comprehend, and it’s amazing that the mother locked in and began to change for her so she could thrive WHILE loving her. lyrica doesn’t need people telling her that what’s best for her is to hate her mom. it would hold actual weight if the mom was just generally a lost cause like in the first timeline, but it means nothing after the mom is avidly doing better, being an actual mom to her now and letting lyrica thrive better than before.
you’re wanting lyrica to live a life a bitter misery for no reason other than the satisfaction of holding lydia (another child victim who was trying to survive) accountable, but not taking lyrica’s actual wants and needs into consideration.
if you’re a person who doesn’t believe in forgiveness, growth and change then don’t read a story about forgiveness, growth and change. this story wouldn’t mean as much if it didn’t show how bad things were at the start.
that’s a very odd way to say re-enslaved. penelope apologizing for butting in and ruining his path held no weight, she’s not sorry at all, she’s just annoyed her awful decision making spiraled into this massive mess. i don’t like how the writers are insistent on writing him as some insane man. authors just leave slaves alone challenge, damn. they’re always used as props for mcs..
before hardcore penelope stans come at me with “she’s tryna survive” bs, save it. i’m criticizing the general writing and the direction the author decided to go, using some half-baked attempt to dismiss penelope’s wrong doings and inadvertently justifying by brushing it off as “penelope is so great for realizing her mistakes. eclise is just some insane man hurr durr”. it’s horrible writing and their half baked attempt at acknowledging it doesn’t make penelope seem all that better. then she claims she saved him? correction penelope; you bought him. then you tossed him aside when you realized he wasnt a pet you could domesticate and became no longer useful to you and is instead a human with trauma that deserved careful attention, not your uncommitted games.
if they end up together it’d be like the epitome of a lavender marriage. only getting together because they understand they’re emotionally married off to their gay crushes. felix not having a world outside of claude and lily not having a world outside of diana.
the glasses girl rlly takes the cake… dgaff abt her and her whole spooky shtick is so corny
too corny… a huge pet peeve of mine is when these fl’s reincarnate and mention something about the trope being cliche, well known or overdone, it really ruins immersion for me.
it goes deeper!! where ur currently standing, lloid would not react positively to you being an assassin!!! YOR PLEASE WAHHHHH
ppl who hate lydia are ppl who dont understand what it’s like having a mentally ill parent who loves you. idc if none of y’all forgive lydia's, what’s important is that lyrica does and loves her. what lyrica needs from someone she loves and depends on is to get their shit together, not leave her or be repenting 24/7. trust me, i have a parent who repents often and feels bad about herself but physically can’t do anything to change bc of her struggles, it’s exhausting.
Lydia was 16 with a child and rose up to be as accomplished as she could be so she could stand by her husband, and that insecure bitch boy resented her for it. As much as she educated herself, she was essentially an abandoned child pushed to the edge and left to raise another child on her own.
i’ve been looking for a feisty, overachiever bottom, and gentle, laid back top dynamic with no luck.
my no’s are :: omegaverse, psychotic and abusive top who’s just kind or indulgent on occasion, romanticized s/a.
if you think the quality of story telling is worth staying for then i can try giving it a chance, thanks in advance <3
dojin was never a good partner, hyesung was always attracted to other omega’s and never interested in alpha’s, he only came to tolerate dohin bc he made it so he had to depend on him. dojin also straight up took advantage of hyesungs biology and vulnerability to get what he wanted. tell me one trait that he likes about hyesung as a person besides being an omega.
i need more alpha x beta OTL
it definitely looks a lot more chibby like and cute compared to the previous one but the quality is still there for the composition, decorating and the costuming. i might reread this from the start
regarding the agriculture, did remi use the same methods that pina suggested and that the second prince introduced? (the rotation crop i think) if so why was hers successful, and generally why was the second prince laughed at??
i don’t have enough knowledge in this area to understand it and words blur together
their relationship is so refreshing, but is there more chapters? feels like they could use more development (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
so suspenseful. i can’t tell if im thankful for the slow pacing or not :s
