Abandoned him with his abusive father and never came to visit him. Only after Hyesung gave birth and I think people got to know he was married to Dojin (since Dojin's family was already famous) she contacted them and came to meet him but of course it didn't go well. And it just made Hyesung despise his mother even more.
She did try to see him but she believed the abusive father’s words that Hyesung didn’t want to see her. Even so she never tried hard to look for him or not believe the father, she just went away and had new family. Yeah she started a new family.

People comparing hyesung's situation with byul's doesn't make sense to me, yes it's the same "mother abandoning child" shit if you look at it but their situation was completely different. And unfortunately, HYESUNG WAS A VICTIM IN BOTH OF THEM. That bitch left hyesung when he was a fully conscious kid, with an abusive father. And hyesung literally saw everything in front of his eyes.
