But honestly, there's no saving this story, the only one who carries this is Rashta, she has the most decent characterization than any of the characters, she became who she is after learning that there's no one to save her, no one to rely on, and no one to trust. She may not have been a decent person but that is the result of manipulation of the nobles around her, she clinged into what she believed that would protect her the most, being Empress, she wasn't smart either which is also another factor that she was never given a proper education nor guidance like Navier, she was trained to be a child bearer, a sex doll. Navier did not improve, she's a tyrant just like her new husband, she takes advantage of people just like her ex husband but Rashta is the only one given the worst punishment where everyone else was given a happy ending

FR, Author is a vile Elitist, making Navier shine when she's also a tyrant, Rashta has a valid response to everything she experienced, Navier is not, she literally has a home to run to while Rashta doesn't, it made sense that Rashta would be so greedy because no one absolutely wanted to go back into being a slave, any slave beside Rashta would've don the same as they were never given a chance to be properly educated, taught to be their own person.

It's not that bad to get jealous and it's also longing too cause in her past life she didn't get any love. And this current life, yeah, she experienced love except the experience of being loved by your mom and also she didn't even get to meet her mom because her mom died. Adulting doesn't mean you don't have rights to get jealous of someone getting loved by her mom. I think that scene was about her probably longing and wanting to experience to get loved by her mom.

ur thinking that shes taking it away. She,herself, feels awful for wanting that affection despite having so much. But its honestly, true: nothing can replace a parents affection. Maybe you've grown up with both parents, but it hurts for single parent household children to see what they could've had.
