The webtoon is not islamophobic, the author apparently is and stupidly added some bullshit to the story. The shitty translations are the ones that contain that nonsense, but fortunately the storyline/dialogue is slightly different in the official translations. Don't miss out on the story cos it, its really worth the read
He isn't going to die(assumption), he was alive and well in the first chapter where this story started. If we go with the theory that the FL is telling us how her in-laws became "obsessed with her", that would me the story so far is essentially her telling the story of what led to the party in the first chapter where they all greeted her lovingly.

So many people mistreated and used Trashta, and then ask why she's become a "dry tree"/has "lost it", there's only so much someone can go through before it all goes awry ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ the girl is at her wit's end.
EDIT: I'm not justify Trashta's actions. Just saying people who have been villains towards her shouldn't be surprised that she has changed/snapped.

I kind of agree with you but about Trashta, sure she suffered a lot, has traumas and people make mistakes however, her actions can't be justified.
She did many harmful deeds consciously, moments and moments have been shown her just being plain wicked, jealous and mean, it was a choice she made. Karma reached her and she still dares to argue she is innocent. She deceived many and trusted the wrong people. She was not perfect but didn't even try to be a better person.
And the Emperor is another trash, he has some serious problems, can't communicate properly, isn't able to give the basic respect a person deserves (especially to someone who is supposed to be "family", regardless if he is Emperor or not) and is fickle, in my opinion. Can't stay loyal to someone, Trashta is trash but she didn't deserve the treatment she had from him, she was used like an object. Tho, one thing I didn't dislike is him thinking of making a girl his successor, but we'll see what will actually happen.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not justifying her actions. I'm just saying I don't understand why people who constantly pushed and mistreated her, like her old "owner", are surprised that she's no longer "sweet, naïve" etc LOOOL!

Imo that's like rather expecting it to have ended in nothing which in turn leaves it not open ended... just because usually a sequel for it would 100% mean they end up back together cuz if not why even bother so really if suhc a sequel never comes we can assume nothing came of it. Ofc its technically open ended but it doesn't feel that way to me because of the way these stories work 99.99% of the time

I dont mind if they do end up meeting again and finally work out because honestly, it'd be nice to see for once a story where a shitty character doesn't get no redemption arc, instead they genuinely decide to change for the better and even get therapy or whatever (basically actually grow up and own up to mistakes and learn to love and communicate properly). I wouldnt call it a redemption arc for him because it wouldnt be coming out of nowhere. It'd be years until they meet again if they do, maybe even 10. The light haired dude, as his friend pointed out, had pretty much never been in a long term relationship before. They never lasted nor did he feel much when he was broken up with. Somehow, he did end up feeling a lot, tho complicated, for the asshole. Not only was HE the one to have to end things properly, he felt beartbreak over it. In that sense, I think it there is some potential. For sure right now it's impossible and not worth anything after all they experienced with each other, but a lot can happen in 10 or 20 years. I would just hope that one way or another, the red haired guy either 1. Learns to be a decent human and makes real friends in the US, maybe even meet someone special and gets over his first love or 2. He heals, makes proper friends, and stays a good person even if when he goes back to korea to try to restart a relationship with his first love he ends up getting rejected. That he responds differently than when he was younger and treats the situation like a proper adult and says his final good bye. If they do get back together, it better be fucking refreshing and pretty fluffy all around- no bullshit of old ugly habits but not in a way that feels like they arent even themselves anymore. In the way where you can really tell they each find something in themselves while alone in that time that everything hits different for them in the best way. (▰˘◡˘▰) those are the only 3 endings I'd accept regardless which way it would go in a sequel or even if it stays open ended.

What is wrong with this guy??? Can't even listen to what he's being told. I really hope the author doesn't let Siwoo give in to thjs psycho #－.－) Not every side story needs a happy coupling. And no every villain deserves full redemption with a character from the story. It would be better off for him to go aboard(still can't undersrand the logic), and in a few years we find out he's getting better and settling down with someone other than Siwoo
