So so many things that are great about this one!!! I love how the other female characters aren’t demonized jealous shrews. And Yuri isn’t presented as some godsend NoT LikE tHe OThEr GirLs enlightening all the dumb medieval women just because she’s smart and must pretend to be a man. I haaaaate when the FL is the only strong female character in the whole story. I know some people don’t like the empress, but I personally love how they don’t shy away from making her a strong leader, even when that comes at the expense of the FL. The characters in general are so well written!! Like with Lester and Yuri, Lester isn’t outright a bad person for liking Yuri, but Yuri is well within her right to feel uncomfortable by his advances. And ofc Aenon the bisexual king

My boyfriend is poly, and I am mono, but I accept that he is poly, and he accepts that I am mono. He and I fell in love super fast, and we are still extremely happy together. He gives me all his attention and makes sure I know that he adores me, and that I am irreplaceable. Which is why I trust him to not cheat on me, but to tell me if he is interested in another person. I let him know what I am uncomfortable with, which is other women, because I become insecure about myself and women scare me a bit, but I'm ok with men, because I know that is a different experience I can't give him. He's bi, by the way. But, in this respect, we accept one another, and are willing to compromise to make each other happy. So, I think it would be like that, or that would be the healthy version of it.
