Hear me out. I am not far into the story as she only just left her adopted family but I am totally getting Adam family vibes in this story. This brings me back to the old black and white tv shows that I would watch as a kid. Oh man this outs how old I really am. LOL

I about laughed myself silly. When she says masked martial arts the first thought was Mexican Masked Wrestling called Lucha Libre.

I find this story a refreshing take on so many same old same old stories. It may not be the best translation but I will at least give the translator props for sticking with this at its a really great story. It shows the real details of how divorce really goes down & doesn't sugar coat the issues on how you need vital things to be able to get out of an abusive & cheating relationship with your children. It doesn't make it a fantasy like but gives you the gritty details that many of us had to go thru to get out of a violent relationship with a spouse that was an adulterer. For me I know personally how it felt & could completely understand as I myself had to save up for several months to be able to save money secretly to then get into a woman battered shelter. I potted with a nurse & people & eventually had to wait until the right moment when my in laws vehicle was in the repair shop to where I was allowed to use my vehicle & when I went to pic my son up from my child's great grandmothers house I played it off as if nothing was wrong. I said see you tomorrow I was so happy that I was leaving & knew that I was going into a battered woman shelter with my child and would not see her the next day. The whole saving money in my maiden name all the details that this manga shows makes it to where you can feel her pain & the struggling one goes thru trying to leave a relationship & do it in a way you are not loosing your children. So I say yes the translation is a bit rough but the issues of this story are so right on point for what many women go thru when trying to escape a horrific marriage are spot on.

I liked the novel very much. Its interesting how things progressed wondering if the manga will stick to the novel or will we see changes.

Read the novel and its quite interesting. Love how Six stays so true and innocent even thru everything while we do see character development massively on Malones side wondering if we will see this in the comic as well.
