Yeah I recalled that a bit but I guess I never looked at it in that angle, bc he was so hateful I just assumed he was someone who wasn't able to get past not disliking her anymore and treating her normally
the male proportions have been getting a little weird with the last couple of chapters... look at Lu in that last panel of him (shoulders so wide his head looks small) or Asiel in the scene where they were at the table with the emperor, his arms looked too long
The way they managed to make both their suffering and on Heiner's part his harm happen and then still make us want the happy ending for them both (whether together or separate) really shows the incredible writing behind this. Just really really good, peak
