this is a really good story if you want drama and character development, the characters have drastic environments mainly because they go live in a country that goes through revolution from the starting to the end of the story. both leads play crucial roles in how the revolution plays out, so it’s inevitable that their lives change constantly.
the story focuses on the character relationship and shows a relationship where both people have pre built expectations from the other, which leads to the main conflicts that occur throughout the story. it is a bit idealized so that the story can have a feel-good ending, but the way it gets there is not as kind.
finished, great to read as a revolution romance (from the perspective of an amateur who prefers romance and doesn’t know much about what happens during revolutions lol)

I couldn't have expected a better read, this really encapsulates highschool and cute romance tropes from a guy's perspective, and each romance is so wholesome
