no hate here I agree with you. She has every right to be angry at him and he has every right to be frustrated that no one understands him. I don't understand why everyone hates her. like him using his dark magic to basically break into her house would have been plenty for me to be like no we're done don't talk to me again.

I think that most ppl just don't remember the past chapters. Honestly, I had completely forgotten everything myself so I reread from chapter one.

Idk bout everyone else but i dont like her bcs she blames him for everything bad that happens without any proof or reasoning. Its all full of judgement on her part.

I mean like she blames him for the emperror's death, releasing that maru creature, even bout her sister's fiancee, she also thought that he lied about that. She's just too prejudiced about him bcs she's too caught up with alice's premonitions. She herself said that the current him is kinda different from the novel she read. I get that he is kinda twisted in a sense, but to blame him for sth that he may not do is just wrong

I would agree with you that blaming someone for something they didn't do (as long as there is no other reason to do so e.g. past behavior) is wrong but I don't think that she did that.

She didn't blame him, she suspected him and communicated that as a question. There is a difference. If I ask you if you took my eraser, I'm not blaming you. If I declare you to be a thief that has stolen my eraser, then I would be blaming you.

What is the thing about her sister's fiance - I don't know which exact situation/chapter you're referring to so idk if that's a valid point or not.

Yes its true that questionning him n suspecting him isn't wrong but when u take into account her facial expressions and her line of thoughts, for me at least it sounds like she's blaming him.

Maybe the way we read her tone of voice is different.

Like u give the eraser example, if i ask "did u take my eraser" in a calm n nonchalant way then yes everything's cool but then if the same thing is asked in anger n hostility or in a condescending tone then the meaning would change

If the tone was hostile then I would consider that to be rude, but I think that the main difference between the eraser and the near-death situation is what could have happened. To me, if someone got mad over an eraser, that would be a huge dick move but if it was a near-death situation e.g. car crash into a tree then I would get people being hostile/angry. (honestly car crashes suck, been in 2)

Not only is the miscommunication a huge issue and is being dragged out here, I do want to say that there is a lot that has to be explained that isn't in terms of how things exist and the essential "rules of the world" it feels like the structure is hinted to at the in between of the lines but sometimes its frustrating to go reading on with something you may be thinking is true but turns out to be wrong.


I detest the level of miscommunication, and how Nocton is just painted as a villain when he doesn't even have someone who he can trust fully. Whatever he has sown and his own bad luck of a family is taking such a toll on him that if he could whisper it into a tree hole it'll definitely help him feel much better. Unfortunately, even the "main villain" in this manhwa doesn't even have an aide that helps him properly. Exhausting being truly alone with no one to trust.

I understand how Duroa feels. Nothing has been said to her, I do wish she was more perceptive of the Edgars treatment of Nocton, and also remember his promise to not kill anyone.

I wish things between Aaron and Nocton go better, and his damn knights oath is so stupid at times just TELL HER YOU LOVE HERRRR kind of situation and like how you were that knight in training and how is she still alive after seeing her tombstone?

There have too many chapters that have been going on to suddenly reveal that someone besides Patricia is planting so many seeds around just to get rid of Nocton. Is it because he will blow up if you attack him directly? Are you trying to poison him with something other than holy water? Summoning circles of priests to expel whatever ablution is in Nocton? Idk lady whatever you're doing should've been more drastic if you wanted full control over this?

One thing I can add here is that seeing how he treated her like a servant and (in her perspective) even gave away something she poured her heart into making (the tea) is just slowly eating into her as something that is worse than a friendship, heck, a kind of rs where she's at the mercy of his beck and call.

She has that conditioning and definitely leans on Alice's premonitions a lot, since Alice has turned out to be trustworthy and looking out for the three of them. The conditioning from 10 years worth has left its mark, and definitely now anything that has to do with her safety, if Nocton turns up somewhere she thinks it's becuase he staged it to happen to make himself look good. It's a little bit too much overthinking but again explained from her conditioning.

Also!! The fact he doesn't tell her anything! He doesn't admit to the brainwashing trying to hide things from her, not knowing / testing if she's resistant to some black magic like hypnosis and brainwashing, and in general, doesn't try to convey anything besides somehow she's special to him, what is Duroa supposed to think? He's sending her mixed signals with his actions and its frustrating to her.

I don't think Eris (old and new) and Helena are compatible. As friends or otherwise. Let them be cordial and poison the prince

That's alright, honestly, I don't think it will go in a yuri direction but IMO it would be cool to have a yuri couple. I think that it would just be a huge "ouch" moment for the dude if both the girl he rejected and the one whom he gave no choice were to ditch him and be either lovers or best friends that live together.

Welp, I could tell you if you've read up until the point of it being currently updated. The main character is pretty gay and has recognized she's gay. It's just a slow burn romance.

I'm on chapter 25, it's just that a lot of the time I will be shown the bait but I will never get it. The gay romance is implied but then it never happens :/ (basically queerbating)

I ship them and want them to be together but the story is about one of them getting a bf and literally everyone and everything around me is straight so I wouldn't be surprised if I was/am being tricked.

Don't worry it's not queer bait. Usually if there's a yuri tag, it's gay romance that's not implied or anything! The main character even realizes that she doesn't like guy she's supposed to, and that she likes Haena more. They'll be canon eventually :)
