i know everyone’s complaining about the art style and character designs but it actually doesn’t bother me that much. the story was just… so boring. and it felt so quiet, which doesn’t work well when both main characters are so expressionless. when i reached the ending, the only word that popped up in my head was “huh?”
an esper x civilian pairing instead of a guide?? that’s so interesting, i don’t think i’ve seen this dynamic in any guideverse story before! BUT ALSO WHY DO THEY HAVE TO SUFFER IN EVERY UNIVERSE
this is one of the rare times i’ve seen the top have such expressions like they’re losing their mind almost makes it look like he’s the one taking it instead and i love it
it actually has the potential to be a longer story with the top trying to win the bottom’s heart but for a short story, it was an enjoyable read
