this creatur has no skill in pacing or formatting apparently its taking so much mental gymnastics on my end to understand every aspect of this
i feel like the end could have spanned out in a few more chapters... like maybe till 85 or 90, show a bit more struggly, nitty gritty, psych battle, or escape attempts from Gijeong, show more violent psycho-ness from Inseop and then more chasing leads, frustration and desperation from detective. It was so psychologically heavy at the start only to end so... pathetically.. so one-note.
its good he brought that perspective to her. she doesnt have to follow what he's saying if she doesn't want to but at least think about it. its always wise to make a decision when u have a broader perspective. whether she forgives or not, whether she gives her dad a chance or not, at least she made that decision not just based on her own thoughts or feelings but also in consideration of other things. that way she can fully stand by her decisions.

the story gets worse and worse in terms of characters, imo. the angst for the father is good but what downgrades the story is how the guys develop... Griffith and Oscar get so obsessive. Oscar is the typical yandere, Griffith gets annoying gradually in his twisted obsession. Callix is so dumbed down... like he feels like he's there for comedy or smtg and slightly misogynistic (actually all of them are a bit) but he's fixated on FL too. ROMEO IS THE ONLY SANE PERSON. But I feel bad cuz he falls for FL too? I wish he didnt and was just like an older brother vibe but he is the most sane. He doesnt show his obsession or force the FL or whatever, he just wants her to be happy. He makes a joke here and there but its not crazy like the others. The obsessions towards FL was just so... ugh and it ruins their friendship dynamic a bit... and FL is also kinda weak willed like in the novel (idk if its translation or what) she cant outright say no to her friends, cant assert boundaries or whatever. She annoyed me a bit too Maybe the webtoon will be better but idk, based on what I read it was a bit errrr. Also endgame is Oscar which is crazy cuuuuz he lowk toxiccc, all of them are except Romeo. There are other stuff too that was imo unnecessary with her family etc lmk if u wanna know that too but yeah. At some point i just was more relieved it was over.

that part was lowk messy. she stays with her parents, so with FL and the emperor and stuff found out after a while, visits and begs her even tho she has no memory which gets FL angry, making her kick him out, telling him to never visit again unless her mother goes to him herself as atonement for his treatment to her. He is so distraught, he goes back, cuts of his arm?? and then he also loses his memory temporarily??? her bio brothers are like ?? so they went to where FL is and found their mom, the ogFL also came and started begging her mom to return for the emperor's mental health (she is so crazy annoying, like entitled piece of shhhhh) anyways FL gets mad again (thats all she does, get mad, doesnt hit them or order for them to whatever, she just gets mad, says words, angst stuff) the grandfather kicks the brothers and ogFL out cuz its revealed what the brothers made her do when she was young (the kneeling and apologising thing) and told them to never set foot there again. Some stuff happens, the mom regains the memory somehow? They said how but it was so anticlimactic, and glossed over that Ive forgotten. She just stays with them? and the family never gets addressed. At least from where I finished (side story 1) idk if theres more side stories which addressed that but I couldn't be bothered to keep reading this...

I think thats why he also possessed those items, they represented the owners' devotion. I know right!!! Only so few stories get this kind treatment, whether it was written like that by the author or a decision by the scanlation, IM LOVING EVERY BIT OF IT. I love the thought they put in immersing us in the story and its time
