I'm ecstatic for the happy ending and I love seeing Sehan and Chaon happy and away from the adults that failed them BUT one thing I didn't like was how that scar faced motherfucker who has some serious obsession with Sehan’s safety and the same guy who used to lock Chaon in a dark place as a child got away with little to no consequences other than that one time Sehan really gave him a beating. I want him tortured slowly till he dies or like have him rot in the same suffering Sehan and Chaon both went thru. Because of that same guy my man Chanseung lost his arm AAAAA I want him and that cheongseong director to suffer 100x more.

Also, I am no psycho but I tell yall when I saw Sehan blew that white haired mf straight in the head I was filled with overwhelming ecstasy

There were alot of stuffs that weren't fleshed out in my opinion but overall I love the story, I love the characters. It was rushed but given the creator's health it's very understandable how this manhwa was cut short. This is prolly not gonna happen but I yearn for side stories T^T

    Tammicita September 11, 2026 3:57 pm

That guy wasn't obsessed with Sehan's safety. He wanted to get rid of Chaon because him and his dad witnessed something they weren't supposed to, I think. Can't remember in which chapter they show it. But he couldn't flat out get rid of Chaon because Sehan made a deal with his dad, the boss, that he would take over if they didn't kill Chaon. I think. I might be wrong. I need to reread the story. But I'm also upset he gets away with all of it.

At some point, he did seem obsessed with his safety (atleast from my own view). The amount of times he had harassed Chaon because according to him “he will put Sehan in danger” is absolutely irritating. Like bro just doesn't seem to understand that no matter what he does to intervene nothing will go his way. I was deadass pulling my hair (rip my scalp) trying to anticipate his downfall towards the end but alas, mf got away scot-free

Also, since my memory is still fresh— the thing between Sehan and his dad’s deal was for him to do what he wanted for a year a.k.a getting Chaon to fall for him before agreeing to take over after Chaon had made his decision. There was nothing that state any intentions of killing Chaon at all. Basically, it was all that scar faced guy’s choice of wanting to get rid of Chaon.

I hope I don't come across rude with my reply T^T

Not rude at all. I think at some point, the translations were not the best and I personally missed a lot. So I am rereading the story since official translations were uploaded after I had started reading the story.

But at some point, I felt like there was more to him just wanting to keep Sehan safe. Why would he be so obsessed with that? For what purpose? Out of loyalty? Because he takes his job seriously? Was he afraid that if something happened to Sehan that he would be killed by Sehan's father?

Intent matters. So these questions are what lead me to believe there is something I missed.

Just food for thought. I genuinely enjoy conversations like these. I like when people give their input and we help each other get to the bottom of things. So thank you, stranger!

Ohh, that's an interesting food for thought indeed. It's kinda sad that so much of the plot wasn't fleshed out or given any conclusion. But yeah, I get what you mean that scar face guy’s intent was left ambiguous other than his constant distaste towards Chaon.

And yes, I also love conversations like this. I tend to express my thoughts and feelings about something that I've read or even just my analysis so seeing people reply to my comment politely with their own point of view makes me feel giddy too!! Lowkey missing B@to considering I have left so many comments there and even made friends along the way because of it.

    Tammicita September 12, 2026 9:59 pm

I miss Bato. I like how we could comment on each individual chapters.

But here is what I think happened in the story:
Sehan's father said Scar Face and the uke's father never got along. And then the bottom took Sehan out of the house when they were young and Sehan was kidnapped and almost killed. Scar Face blames the bottom. But he also tried to hide it from Sehan's dad. But he found out anyways.

Sehan's dad held Scar Face partly responsible b. Cause he was Sehan's bodyguard at the time and cut his pinky off. I hear that is a common punishment in the mafia. But since it was the bottom who took Sehan out of the house and he was only a child, Sean's dad punished the bottom's dad by sending him away. But he promised to take care of his son.

So I think Scar Face started to genuinely hate the bottom. Yes, he cares about Sehan and making sure he is save is kind of his duty. But Sehan is already an adult so Scar Face doesn't need to "take care" of Sehan the same way he used to before. He no longer has a say in what Sehan can or can't do. So I think it became personal to him, he had a grudge against the bottom and kept trying to get the boss to get rid of him, send him away.

But Sehan made a deal with his dad so the bottom wouldn't be send away. So Scar Face betrayed everyone by taking the bottom to the bad guy.

I want a love like that too. Love that is beyond platonic and romantic. Love in its purest form

I NEED SIDE STORIES AAAAAA

Ein_ni September 6, 2026 6:21 am

All the SAs and non-concensual acts aside. Mido really is the embodiment of the abused becoming the abuser. Having to live your life in survival mode at a very young age especially in an environment that is so against your whole being can do so much in altering your brain chemistry. Not saying that Mido’s indecent acts towards Jichan is justified but rather to accept the fact that the characters are very nuanced and complex. I'd also like to point out how much I love the idea of Jichan still choosing what he wants to do out of his own volition. Really portrays how every victim's choices and the reason behind those choices are non-linear. I also love how Mido is shown to have an intricate way of thinking. The way he goes back and forth from his revenge and/or wanting to fall for Jichan’s promises again. At the end of the day, what drives both Jichan and Mido’s motives lies on the very fact that they are both intertwined with each other. As per Hyeon’s dialogue “those two can never be separated”. Also, we only got a short glimpse of what Eugene was like but she's the GOAT for taking in and nurturing Mido despite all odds against them. That is to say, Mido’s resentment towards Jichan really did take root deep in his heart for him to plan all those revenge despite having been nurtured by Eugene. His fear of being abandoned is so strong that it's gonna take the whole truth behind their past in order to slowly heal that fissure in his heart. Another scene I really adore is when Mido recalled all the indecent things he did to Jichan— Jichan’s reciprocation and initiative to be intimate with Mido was the catalyst to him finally realizing that revenge was never what he wanted and that he never wanted to actually make him suffer the same way he did all those years ago. And him surrendering to that realization is what makes his character so deep. Also, I like how Jichan’s greed to make Mido his back then was what drove his character to start this series of unfortunate events. They are equally flawed and the constant up and down in their relationship’s progress is what makes this compelling to read cuz there's really no easy step into fixing what was gravely broken. That is to say, trauma is never an excuse to do the something wrong but it can explain the reasoning behind it. What can we say, love and hate are two sides of the same coin afterall. Lastly, just wanna add that I love the symbolism of Mido’s fissures healing the moment they both came into terms with their past mistakes and how a single truth from Jichan was everything he needed to heal. Anyways, I'm rambling ALOT here since I read the whole thing in one sitting and I only had 3hrs of sleep but yeah— for a manhwa with only 50+ chapters the characters are fleshed out really well and tho others might find Mido’s redemption arc short, I'd like to say it fits perfectly well with how the story was written. Love the ending

Ein_ni September 4, 2026 8:00 pm

What can I say. Love— doesn't matter if it's twisted or not is still indeed love. I really adore the fact that Illic’s “love” for Sayan is not inherently romantic or platonic but something beyond what can be labeled. He despised how he was tormented during their earlier lives together but can't bring himself to let go of him. Even though Sayan’s will was to give Illic freedom after his death— it was something that made Illic upset rather than happy cuz in the end, doesn't matter how they started their relationship the two of them really did form a lifelong bond with each other. And losing your lifelong partner is a really painful nightmare. As an aromantic idiot (even tho it has nothing to do with the story) I really really really like how love is portrayed between the two, especially since I also have a different view of love outside the romantic and platonic box. I know Illic isn't the type to explicitly say or voice out his feelings since it's not really something that he's in tuned with but despite that he make do with his actions. He says he despised Sayan but hates the idea of losing him (and his beautiful face) wishing for him to get better and grow healthier. That alone is love in its purest form, if I do say so myself. I guess what they said about “the more you hate, the more you love” is true. LMAO. In the end, Sayan did genuinely love Illic and Illic in return did accept his love in ways that only he can ever understand (simply because Sayan is as always oblivious and remained convinced that Illic will never come to love him). Not that I'm romanticizing all the toxicity tho nor would I condone any acts of harassment or abuse irl.

What I also love with this manhwa is that for this kind of story, words and dialogues alone aren't enough for readers to actually understand the whole context of what is being portrayed but also relies on the actions of every characters as well as any other context clues that needs to be deciphered rather than having it spoon fed to the readers.

Ein_ni August 31, 2026 6:05 pm

what if.... just what if the only reason he is avoiding Woojoon’s feelings is because Woojoon is too nice for his own good. I don't know man— Siwon sounds like a total lunatic with avoidant attachment issues to me. I don't mean the common type but definitely something like that LMAO. Don't get me started on his “Woojoon will never love me” monologue. Like bro wdym?? Is this your way of like putting on a wall or am I maybe just over-analyzing the story XD

also, author forgot to add the horror tag HAHAHAHA. I love Woojoon being so pathetic and yearning but I so long for a chapter wherein he'll just snap and Siwon will have to be the one doing the chasing. My man needs to have his own pride

I don't understand why people are making it a big deal that Kou and Ginga had a twisted sexual relationship before they got together with Yuu. While it does say that the reason behind their sexual intimacy is to find solace from the fact that Yuu hasn't yet reciprocated their feelings, it doesn't really mean that Ginga and Kou didn't love each other. It's just that their mutual love for Yuuzen is put at a much higher level compared to their love for each other. As twisted as it seems, love is still love. Where do people even get the cheating idea when in the first place neither of them were in a relationship with Yuu at the time. Though I do understand that hiding it from Yuu was odd but not necessarily a deal breaker. I mean Yuuzen did know about it later on considering how freaky both Kou and Ginga are. In the end, it's the fact that all three of them chose to be together. That's like the whole point of the story. Their whole relationship is not built on fate alone but by choosing. I think that alone is love in its purest form. And the fact that Ginga and Kou chose to find comfort from each other in this side story is evident of the mutual love they have for each other on top of their mutual love for Yuu.

Anyways, all this is just how I view the story. This is like my nth time rereading cuz I miss my boys and I still have the same opinion as I had way back when I first read this. In the end, how we interpret the story is subjective to our own creative minds.

In all honesty, Elder Mugo was my least favorite out of all the 3 Mugo(s) because he was giving off major sketchy vibes in the earlier chapters but now that I've pick this manhwa back up— I have to admit that he does have that endearing side to him (in a way that he's a smart ass but also kind of stupid lmao) that I kinda grown to like tho he can be hypocritical at times. I'm kind of biased tho cuz my ultimate favorite is Lord Mugo (Second a.k.a the jerk mugo) for all sort of reasons but the #1 reason is that he's very blunt and opinionated and not afraid to speak his mind lol. Second fave is ofc our Monster Mugo cuz why not, he's a cutie :3

Anyways, I guess the recent chapters have confirmed that Jerk Mugo is the main soul out of all the 3 (it was already foreshadowed but anws that's my man ♡) considering how he has the most control out of them all when it comes to their body. I'd also like to think that monster Mugo is his frantic side which resulted from the horrible experience he had from the past while glasses Mugo is his side that tries to rationalize everything in order not to fail and play it safe. And jerk Mugo is all of that combined but more willful and rebellious. I mean bro literally tore his soul apart after being traumatized

I can't wait to know more about their past aside from the ones shown in Lee Muhan’s domain expansion lololol.

Also, it's kinda funny how glasses Mugo is called an old geezer when in fact he's literally the youngest out of all the 3 (as shown in the special chapter) and I'm wheezing over the fact that he literally can't do anything against Jerk Mugo once he has made his mind .

And again I am hella biased towards jerk Mugo so I'm really glad he's the main Mugo. And I love the way he keeps appearing when Ja-heon is in danger and save him. Tho it's an undeniable fact that all three share the same body, there really is a vast difference between their personalities which is why it's understandable to have favorites lol.

Sion is probably the ML that won my heart the most for Eleanor considering out of all the 3, he's the only one that actually takes El’s feelings into consideration. Second comes Gray cause he's such a yapper and a carefree spirit— as for Fenrir, he didn't do anything that deserves animosity but I find him bland. Maybe I'm just biased because I have a thing for blondes and dark-skinned characters. Anyways, Lionel and his white-haired lover needs more screen time
