Picking this up after beginning the anime is so interesting because this was genuinely a beautiful read about the pursuit of innovation that in turn uplifts and keeps tradition and the spirits of our predecessors alive. It also makes me a bit sad bc from the comments I’d seen on anime websites, I wonder if enough people will appreciate this ending or if the anime will be able to properly bring us into this final chapter.
I think it’s not unfounded for me to also say that the sound direction and coloring of the anime takes some inspiration from the movie Ino-Oh who the historical advisor for TWiD also worked on so I’m intrigued as how the rest of the plays in the manga will be adapted moving forward.
That was so sweet in the end. And the way they ended any kind of familiarity with the prosecutor to the point where he couldn’t see himself in our mc’s life and left?! That kind of mature route is so rare in manhwas like tysm author
