He is an dominant Alpha as Keith, Greyson and Chase. He has to have purple eyes.
I checked a few random chapters, and Winston has purple eyes in all of them. Maybe sometimes they look brown because they’re darker than the other dominant Alphas’ eyes.

in chap 29, they zoomed in his face when he's warning the guests. his eyes are clearly violet like keith and other extreme alphas

Hmmm maybe they just use tones of brown in most pictures, because in chapter 29 his eyes are NOT clearly violet except for that one frame.
