Does anyone know the name/have the link for that korean manhwa wherein there were kids who were brothers, I don't remember if they were twins/one was adopted but they were close except one was a full on obsessive psycho about the other and the other dies, I don't remember if the former killed the latter, I think he was being investigated? It was a psychological thriller like work, please help me find it.

Ouji taking his frustration out on him is just weird
I like how authors have started writing and drawing for the freak4freak trope. I love how lately I keep finding manga/manhua/manhwa where both are equally wholesome/unhinged or where both like each other and show it as opposed to how it used to be wherein there was one side that just showed how much they loved the other and the other would act like they were entitled to it/be tsundere about it/hate it but hate it even more when it's gone, etc
They have a beautiful relationship that works because they understand each other and communicate with each other. He doesn't try to infantilize her cause she can't see, he isn't perfect in the way no one is (in this particular scenario especially in the way that those of us who can see speak, act and have mannerisms of ppl who are used to communicating with others who can also see and therefore it's our default setting of visualizing and interacting with the world in that way) and makes mistakes but he owns up to them and apologizes and does better in the future, he searches for ways to explain the beauty of the world around them in a way that she can feel and understand when she asks for it and even when she doesn't. She showed him the beauty in the world by just being her charming whimsical self and made him more whimsy and appreciative of the world in the process. They are soulmates - platonic/romantic I don't care but wonderful nonetheless. I don't particularly care if it's romantic or platonic cause it just works and that's enough.
I lost this lovely piece of work in the mangago account thing that erased reading lists and I didn't remember the name and I was devastated that I had lost it and just found the name again on YouTube of all places.
It looks so adorable!!
P.S. Am I the only one who feels like the art style is very different?
Does anyone have a link for this to read on mangago or it's alternate name?
Title - A Murderous Affair at 19 Sunset Street
I feel like if you read this when you're younger, before your frontal lobe has developed and you don't know much about the world/about how power imbalances work/about how a person's mind works in one horrible situation an how it works when they're out of it, etc you'll read it with a modern lens (aka a world that to your young mind isn't complicated - just black and white with no shades of gray). In that way in your mind it'll be like Infidelity = bad. You wouldn't even think about how it's so nuanced in this particular situation cause of the power imbalances, is it actual consent or is it consent that is given cause you think that saying no to the emperor is inconceivable?, her being underage, etc. You won't think to question the narrative. You'd go with the flow and join everyone else in saying Trashta/Soveishit (he's still a piece of shit) - I'd know, I was reading the manhwa when it initially began to get updated here and watched the terms be coined live and join in the comments hating on them. We'd all cheer on Navier and Heinry's romance cause he would comfort her and he gave white knight on a horse or as a bird vibes. He was basically her saviour who came to her aid in her hour of need. His wanting to take over her kingdom? Oh that's just so he can make her an empress and he's doing it cause they hurt her. You know who this reminds me of? Y/N and the CEO. Nobody questioned why he was flirting with a married woman despite being the representative of a foreign nation, nobody questioned why he wanted to take over or the harm he'd cause in the process.
We're born into a world where humans should be treated equally and that's the aim we all strive for, for everyone to be treated on par with each other. But when we read manga/manhwa/manhua, a lot of the time, based on the time period, we have to read it with that shut off either as a way to better understand the dynamics/to see how it would apply or work under a modern lens stress test later but sometimes that doesn't work and that's exactly what happened with this manhwa. When we all read this manhwa back when it started, we treated the characters as equals and treated them in that manner which was our mistake cause they are not equal to each other like at all. A slave who never got paid, had very little food, no education, no family, no friends/socialization that wasn't abusive, no kindness and grew up with a scarcity and survivor mindset is in no way shape or form meant to be treated the same as someone who grew up with everything they need, got whatever they wanted and were treated like they were the best all the time, had little to no abuse (poisoning attempts are attempted murders) and the world was their oyester. Equality is not the solution here, equity is and Rashta never got that, not from her fellow characters, the readers at the time and even now and certainly not from her author.
Rashta is no saint but none of the characters are and yet she always bears the brunt of the hate, more than Sovishit cause she's a 'villainous homewrecker' and she's a woman and woman are always at fault for their own actions and the actions of the men around them.
If you read this when you're older, then you see it for what it is - elitist, sexist and classist.
Mr. Fu is a disgusting piece of shit who had sex with his adopted son who he raised. His son is all kinds of fucked up too cause he didn't raise him in a way where he would be his own individual and instead allowed him to be delulu and imitate a dead person cause it suited him. Maybe he ordered his death with Ji's when he realised that he's deviating too much from the Jin in his memories or cause it's easier to frame their death's as a tragic accident to accumulate more power or maybe someone else ordered delulu boi's death cause they hated him. Mr. Fu also doesn't love Jin enough cause who da fuck let's someone go without any punishment for attempting to murder him? Jin is his unattainable love but maybe he's of the opinion that if he didn't get with him, no one should? so it would be better if Jin died cause then his image of Jin will stay the same and not be tarnished by anything that Jin does Jin will not belong to anyone wither that way and so he will belong to him. I will never support Mr.Fu and Jin being together - I am a hater. If there are a 1000 haters, then I am one amongst them, if there is 1 hater, that is me and if there are no haters of that ship then I must be dead.
Jin deserves better than that piece of shit. Ji thought of using Jin for revenge but immediately discarded it cause he felt that Jin was innocent and deserves better and actively wants to be better for Jin. Jin would've been an asshole in his previous life cause he didn't pursue adopted son with good intentions but because adopted son also did the same to him, it gets cancelled out.
I do have a sus feeling that maybe the Black fang gang is not responsible for Ji's mothers death, but I'm not sure.
BWAT's art style is amaze amaze amaze. Shuraka looks broader, more commanding and powerful in front of his people whereas in front of Tei, he shrinks himself (maybe to not intimidate Tei cause he's worried that Tei would be scared of him like his mother), is more shy and gives shoujo vibes (except for the voices in his head part - those are full on horror story vibes).
Tei's smirk in panel 70 is like I've got you now but also like does he like seeing Shuraka give in/crying? Hmm something to ponder about.
I just had a thought on the symbolism of them being Adam and Eve - Adam is punished through labour (maybe emotional labour cause he's in love with Eve but everytime Eve forgets and falls back in love with him while Adam stays in love with Eve? + Physical labour cause he's not at Eve's esper level as a guide so he has to use enhancers that fuck with his body) and Eve through pain in childbearing and relation struggles (here, Eve's the og genetic material for all the other espers and is their father, he's probably in agony majority of the time cause of his senses, maybe during experimentation, etc. + Eve constantly being made to forget Adam only to fall for him everytime he meets him).
(biblically apparently but ask a christian for more details/read the bible, I just did a quick google search)
Idk if my thoughts about the symbolism works or not but I am curious to know all of y'alls thoughts on this kind of symbology.
Anything BL with nice art where the mc and ml actually care about each other and none of that tsundere behaviour/one side constantly rejecting and then accepting in a way where it feels like they are relenting in the end.
Something where both sides genuinely want each other and don't hide it from the other/hide it at all.
I have a theory at this point.
Albrecht probably loves Therion's mom and doesn't see her first 3 kids as her and his brother's kids but rather as his and her kids (cause they're knights and were good fighters, etc so they remind him of himself with her personality of sorts) which is why he is so hell bent on revenge and can't even try to think that he also played a part in their deaths so he blames everyone else. He feels like they definitely would have lived if Kaya were out on the battlefield which may or may not be true, we'll never know cause battles aren't that straight forward unless you have like a nuke and for however powerful she is, there will still be casualties. Maybe they are his kids and he knows? Cause he doesn't treat the other 3 kids the same way but that could also be cause he lost his mind in a different way and feels like no one will ever measure up to those 3 and that these 3 are a disappointment.
SPOILER
Our girl needs to stop with the whole mercy thing especially to Albrecht of all people.
At this point, Jaeha deserves to undergo the wife-chasing/husband-chasing arc. Dude is single-handedly self sabotaging and even that is excusable cause we know how he thinks of the situation and of himself but hurting someone emotionally and damaging their self esteem while simultaneously being like I'm so in love with that person, I'm clearly doing what's best for them while completely disrespecting their bodily autonomy to make their own decisions is pissing me off.
He's like I'm doing this for your good and like I was being selfish by marrying you and shit so let me be selfless and set you free - this is all bullshit. He's being selfish in running away from Taekwon because this makes it easier for him to not confront him (aka in this scenario, not communicate), confront his own feelings of inadequacy and how he's been feeding it, easier for him to feel like he's in control of everything which means he's right and allow himself to remain oblivious to Taekwon's feelings because actual verbal/written communication would involve him confessing, him realising that he's wrong, that he's created multiple non existent scenarios in his head to protect himself from ever getting hurt emotionally and that he's hurt his so called love of his life by making him feel less than (something that he's probably already told that he is cause of how ppl view thugs in comparison to white/blue collar careers even tho he's trying to lowkey go legit now).
Taekwon I have less notes for cause at least he is trying even tho he ain't confessing, but if I were him, I wouldn't confess either cause of Jaeha's hot and cold reactions/push and pull behaviour, like dude is giving as many mixed signals as possible and Taekwon's at the signal attempting to decipher which signal to follow.
The way I thought that Shige was gonna die or they'd break up this chapter
Does anyone know the name of/have a link to that one werewolf manga/comic that had a blond white guy and a native american guy as the couple? The native american guy lived on the reservation and is a vet and the blond dude is a professor an left his og pack cause of some issues and they're fated mates. Blond guy's nickname is bit? He's also next in command/alpha of his og pack. It's set in america.
This manga is like a toxic ex. It updates and we come running back only for it deliver heartbreak and abandon us again. Rinse and repeat.
