Was there really a drop of quality there? It was understandable and an ok translation. Plus it's free. It's okay to complain but what we are trying to say is that the translator prob paid for the raws, if not then ok, worked hard to translate it but then you guys complain? This person didn't even THANK them first for the translation. They didn't say they were grateful and just complained(〜￣△￣)〜

There was already a group working on this Sunny Side Up Scan so no one actually ask this new uploader to interfer. I'm not saying there work is garbage because honestly I have seen worst. If you really didn't grasp the drastic change in the quality I really can't do anything for you. But if a translator just at least respect the author's work and the story they don't just do there thing and expect people to just go with it. I mean the big ass side comments !! I live for scans and I'm broke as hell but that's not a reason for me to accept just anything. I just wish that people wil not encourage and support sloppy work like this one and say things like "It's free so don't complain." Just imagine if the entire website was made of these halfassed work.

I do translate other stories. I pay for other raws. I'm not made of money so you can't expect me or anyone else to pay for absolutely everything they read. I'm not telling them to stop or telling them they suck. If anything, I'm not even complaining about their translations because I'd rather their's instead of S2Manga's bs. People are allowed to complain whether it's free or not, people are allowed to voice their opinions. I didn't even say anything mean, so I don't get where the aggression is coming from. I was suggesting something to a translator as another translator. I never told them to stop, and never said the reason for me not wanting to read this anymore was the TNs. The group translating is perfectly capable of deciding for themselves whether they want to take into consideration what I said.
If I really wanted to be a "chooser", then I would have complained about their raws being ripped from NewTokki, another illegal ripping site, or complained about the many grammar and spelling mistakes, the blurriness, or anything else. I didn't complain about the memes themselves either as I enjoy them. No, I complained about the story itself first and then made a comment regarding the TNs. To reply to your comparison, yes I would complain about receiving food. Who in their right mind, no matter how desperate, would be happy receiving a half-eaten lump of stale bread and go "ah yes, thank you for the wonderful meal"? We're allowed to have standards and me making a COMMENT about something is not the end of the world. I'm not yelling at the group to "do this or I won't read", cause that's dumb, and THEN I understand why you would be angry.

Look, we're not saying you CAN'T complain, but at least try to appreciate what the TL has done for us. They don't work for you and aren't going to change their habits just because one person doesn't like it. They're just translating it to make us happy, even if it's just a little bit. As for the memes and sidenotes, its not that big of a deal. Honestly, I don't like them that much either. But do you see me saying anything about it? No. At least I'm grateful that the TL put time, money, and effort into this and keep my mouth shut. You could also actually be nice and say "Maybe if you could stop putting so many T/N's? Its somewhat distracting. Thank you for your hard work!". It wouldn't kill you to say that, right? Besides, if you don't like it, don't read it. Even better, go do what someone else said and go read on a legal site. There are no T/N's or memes. Besides, "no one asked this new translator to interfere". I get that they could have dug up the info on their own, but at least be grateful for what's already been done. And now look. The TL has most likely decided not to continue translating this, and none of us get to read it until the other group decides to pick it up.

I know you are probably going to reply to this for the sake of arguing, and I have no clue why I spent so much time on this XD, but all I'm saying is try to be grateful for what other people have done.

Okay, I think something didn't get right here. I didn't complain about the updates. I correted that rude persona that was saying that doesn't get have to complain if it's free stuff they are handed and by that took side with the original commenter because one as the right to express themselve free stuff or not. I actually enjoyed the translator's work and let it know a few days ago. ( http://www.mangago.me/home/mangatopic/11953007/ ) What I can agree on is that the side notes where too invasive in the story and were distracting, the typo increased through the updates and the quality dropped but even with that I didn't post any comment about my discomfort. But seeing people say one can't express their opinion because they doesn't pay AN ILLEGLE SITE'S content was just plain stupid and I was reacting on that. At any point was I disrespectful or impropertoward the one that made the updates and I don't think this comment was ever. If one can't take critics to improve they might not be able to lay out their work to the world.

The main point here is that, the fact that they complain without being grateful and all. You guys made this small argument into a big one. I do kind of agree the other one was kinda rude, but, bottomline line is, read it legally if you guys complain. You'll prob gonna attack and comment that, "just because it's free doesn't mean we can't complain," you can, but isn't it better to just read it legally if you really complain? So you want to critic, so that they wouldn't do half-assed work. How is putting tns half assed? Okay maybe some translations had a drop of quality but it's still understandable. You guys complain on something that is free and prob illegal but at least be grateful. You complained because: (1) tns, (2) translation quality, (3) that the translator didn't ask about the group that was working on this manhwa that hasn't been updated from March. Like?? Be at least be grateful of what is given because a desperate person can't really be choosers. If you compare it to what you said before, yes, you honestly can't complain on something that is given to you unless you are privileged.

Uh, you guys all know that og commenter said she appreciated the translations, right? The only thing she really complained about and said the reason she was considering dropping this series is because of the original work. She said she's a translator herself and gave suggestions on how to improve it, probably from her own experience. You guys all just got mad and didn't even read the comment properly, probably only read a few words and assumed the rest. It's fine to get mad, but no need to get aggressive. True, the og commenter was a bit harsh in her wording, but she doesn't seem to have any malicious intent. She literally wrote: "I appreciate the effort gone into translating and uploading, but maybe [...]". She never insulted the uploader or told them to stop. I don't see anything wrong with giving an opinion, especially in a comment section meant for others to comment their opinions or thoughts, etc. Not to be mean, but you guys just went all out without properly reading the comment in my opinion.
