He is so sweet to her like he knows she won’t accept handouts so he goes out of his way to make it seem like she got it on her own merit and for that i love him down bad, however i’m not sure how she will react when the truth comes out but i so hope they actually communicate with each-other when that time comes so she can understand why he hid it and not take it as him making fun of her or something.

There is alot of context missing in these scenes so i can see how yall would be thrown off. In the story it was stated he was alive but he was willing choosing to remain alseep since all of his injuries were healed at that time. He hated him for wanting to die and asking him to kill him but expected him to live without him so as his final act of revenge he decided to guide him thoroughly so he couldn’t choose to remain unconscious anymore and so that when he woke up he would realize he left and didn’t kill him. The flowers weren’t to prepare his deathbed it was more like when he was in the hospital with his brother injured he bought him flowers so he wanted to do the same.
