Seeing Leon suffer like this felt like way beyond a simple rape-y BL with occasional (interesting) plot, and down into genuinely sickening horror-rape. Especially when the author joked that Leon was "working hard" on her Instagram. I was so, so mad and so disgusted. And, spoiler for the upcoming chapters, but it gets worse. (I couldn't believe it either).

Alright. This novel is not new. Just a few years old. I think it was released in 21 or 22. Anyways, this novel has been revised now. Initially this novel had some aspects which were severely protested by the korean readers such as the resemblance to nth room case and bestiality. The new versions on ridi and bomtoon has replaced the bestiality (dog) with a sex machine so you might not see the dog sex scene in the webtoon. Though it did happen in the first version. I have read it myself. There is no love till the end. The relationship is of kind of mutual dependence where ML and MC are broken because of each other but can’t live without each other as well. ML due to his obsession of revenge and MC due to his trauma. The ML doesn’t regret anything. Well atleast in the first version he doesn’t. He has broken MC but the satisfaction of that is lukewarm. At the end of novel, it is like ML has now taken over MC and now will keep him with him as a toy/plaything or a pet. It’s just like you have something useless but can’t throw it away for whatever reason so you keep it with yourself stored at home.
All of this is happening because Jiwook used to bully and sexually assault the ML in middle school. Jiwook was initially good with ML AND he was attracted to ML as well. However due to the fear of homosexuality and afraid of peer pressure, he started bullying and sexually assaulting ML after ML confessed to liking him or being gay.
The abuse involved sexually assaulting ML with his friends, like forcing him for blow jobs, rape etc. the last abuse ML suffered was when Jiwook added a bunch of vibrators in his ass and bound him and left him in the washroom near library. One guy was on duty of keeping an eye on him but Jiwook never came back. The ML was super scared and was rescued by the security guard at night. That was day ML’s mom came to know about the abuse ML suffered because he hadn’t been to home that day due to being locked in the washroom. Also, from that day MC stopped paying attention to ML just on a whim, he left him in washroom and just decided that he should now study.
ML’s sexual pics were being circulated around by Jiwook so ML’s mom also happened to see them. From then she hated the lipstick and color red I think (it’s been long since I read it) because in the pic ML had some writings written on him with red lipstick. ML’s mom mental health deteriorated and got admitted to hospital.
ML was initially a very sweet boy buy due to the abuse and bullying he suffered, he became twisted and wanted to take revenge on Jiwook. Then when Jiwook lost his memories of the ML, the ML became more deranged because according to him, only he was suffering and stuck in the past which everyone eventually forgot and moved on from.
Now onto the abuse Jiwook suffers, there is gangbang on two occasions I guess. Both planned by ML. First is similar to nth room case, where ML shares Jiwook’s sexual pics to different people who wants to bang him and has grudge against him. The men will beat him brutally, rape him brutally, and even try to drown him in water basin in pretext of washing his mouth since MC vomited after being punched badly. The rape is really bad. When the men are done, they will take pics and send then to ML. The ML’s thoughts were that he will have to clean up the mess they left on MC and that he didn’t think they will go so hard on MC. No remorse though. Just a apathetic sorry to MC because he expected them to rape MC but not so hard.
The second gangrape is done extremely brutally which is actually allowed by ML. ML even wants it to be done brutally to punish MC. When MC is losing his mind due to abuse in the gangrape, ML is like why are you losing your mind already? The gangrape involves beating, using baseball bat (I think) to fuck him, using urethra plug to force him to ejaculate him again again with pain, urinating in his mouth and asshole, it’s extremely disturbing.
MC will keep asking what he did that ML is doing this to him but ML will not tell until the last gangrape. After the last gangrape, MC will awake in hotel and regain his memories. He will apologize to the ML. Now he is broken and damaged beyond repair. He is so afraid to even go outside without ML because he thinks those men will come again and rape him. Thus he wants to stay with ML . Stockholm syndrome is beginning and will fully kick in the side stories.
The dog bestiality scene is in side story 2 but it has already been changed to a sex machine after the protest.
My pet peeve with this novel is that if it’s marketed as a revenge story and something that will depict the pain sexually abused people feel then it does a pretty shitty job at that. ML is shown to have become completely psychopathic. Given he was abused, given he wasn’t given justice, given his abusers were free but the time he raped and allowed other people to become sexual abusers just like him, he no longer comes in the category of victim.
An eye for an eye, if we go with it then how can you guage the emotional suffering someone has suffered. MC was so brutally abused, broken and even stripped of his humanity with the bestiality scene that do you really think they are on equal foot now? What about the people who gangraped MC? Aren’t those sexual abusers? Is there any difference left between MC and ML. Does degrading someone so much equals to the suffering the ML suffered? Kill Jiwook, beat him up but this whatever the writer wrote nowhere justifies anything. The name “walk in my shoes” is fucked up joke.
This is a fetishized work, because in the end the focus is not on empathy or regret but rather sexual abuse, the degradation and ultimately whatever the author could jam to make it disgusting. Even the thoughts, the dialogues, they are super apathetic. There was a brilliant way to go about this novel if it really focused on the theme of revenge. There are many dark novels/works in the world but this doesn’t even come close to it. It is disgusting porn in disguise of novel.
The people criticizing others who are leaving bad reviews, do you guys even know what the review section is for? It literally asks people to give their thoughts about the work so other audience can know what people thought of this work. If someone wants to say it’s bad or good, they are literally given a section that “here tell people how you felt about it”. That’s the review section. Anything that comes on internet as a means of entertainment or media for people, people do have a right to give their opinion about it. What's so fucking difficult about it? Author and artist can write and draw disgusting shit like this but people can’t even openly give their review? The fuck kind of mentality is that? If you enjoy it then comment that you enjoyed it and be on your way. Stop dictating others to not leave bad review or shut their mouths.

So massive spoiler for whoever wants it. Like dropping lore and all that. Also please read the Novel, the novel has so many subtle things and the depth is just so good.
Basically ML is an alpha and the MC is a beta. The ML mistakes the MC for an omega right?
So the ML’s family line has a special trait that only comes up like once every couple generations. It’s that rare. They are called “Ghosts”.
Ghost have the power to turn betas into omegas by knotting. Which is why the ML freaks out later when they crack and he knots accidentally.
The ML at first is really confused as to why the MC smells and reacts to pheromones like an omega but doesn’t get wet. Which is why he’s just looking at this guys hole as he sleeps lol.
The MC has a suspicion about this ‘good smell’ but dismisses as he’s a beta and it must be cologne, as well as the ML’s friend, Choi Inwu, an alpha, releases pheromone to no effect (this is the dinner convo).
The ML decides to investigate and starts contacting people to find out why the MC reacts like that despite being a beta.
ML takes MC to different art galleries trying to convince him to paint again. This happens for like 6 months to nearly a year I think but don’t quote me on that. And MC puts himself into debt as the couple he traveled with is on the run. The ML helps him hide them in Bali and basically becomes his contracted painter to pay off the debt.
Throughout this whole thing, they crack like crazy! with knotting happening at least 3 times in one session.
Everytime they do crack, the morning after the ML is gone and he’s seen with glasses on. I think at one point the MC notices this and sees his eyes one morning when the ML stays, remarking that instead of their blue they turn ‘smoky’ and more whiteish.
This is a sign that a ‘Ghost’ has successfully started and done a step closer to the changing process. (It’s slow and continuous)
Diamond Dust (the title) is a weather phenomenon where tiny ice crystals float and sparkle like diamonds when the ice crystals are hit with sunlight at certain angle, creating faint shimmering effects, subtle halos and light pillars. It’s really beautiful I recommend it look at photos.
Anyway, while the ML is searching for answers he finds an old record of another ghost with the same problem. This Ghost calls the beta attractive, magnetic, beautiful etc.. as Diamond Dust. (At the time it wasn’t called that but the ghost in the records describes him similar to that phenomenon) The ML nicknames Diamond Dust into Didi.
Just as Alphas and Omegas are each others counterparts and are inexplicably drawn to each other, a Ghost and a Didi are counterparts as well.
Eventually, the MC and ML are really getting it one and they really like each other. The ML is anxious about his secret and about how he was basically changing the ML’s body anatomy without his permission or even knowing.
ML prepares to abandon his art studio in Korea and move somewhere else with MC for his ‘debut’ in the art world but in reality it is so when the ML confesses that he’s done all of this, the MC will be mad but eventually come back because everything that the MC knows is far away and the only path to go is back to him.
The MC has started to eat less and complain of stomach problems (part of the changing process). He also gets wet during sex like twice but brushes it off after ML says it’s just precum. The ML familiar with the symptoms goes to his friend, Choi Inwu, to see the progress of the changing and help him keep it under raps while treating him. Choi Inwu and ShuShu know about the ML’s secret.
Right before they were set to leave (I think about a month or so before), Choi Inwu and the ML get into a big argument and Inwu says that he won’t continue and that he has to tell MC. ML is like yeah when we get to America. Inwu criticizes him and basically exposes his plan for isolation, calling him cowardly.
A bit later (about a week), ShuShu comes to talk to MC basically congratulating him on the relationship between the MC and ML. He says “So you’ve decided to become an Omega and accept him?” MC’s like ‘tf you mean?’ ShuShu is like ‘oh shit’.
The MC says nothing and goes to confront the doctor first. Inwu spills the beans and tells him that he’s about 50% done with the transition (he’s got a uterus but not the ovaries yet). The next day MC confronts ML. ML confesses and doesn’t deny the MC when confronted about the changing and the isolation plan.
MC runs away to the island he was an originally from. His father who has aphasia after losing his wife basically doesn’t really react to MC’s trauma dumping. ML comes to the island to beg for forgiveness some time after. He explains everything to the MC and give the MC a choice, to stay or to leave with support.
The MC leaves to Paris to paint there. He stays away for about a year. The MC goes full time painter and makes many good works.
Eventually they meet again and get back together. The MC decides to become and omega and yeah there should be more but I gotta keep reading.

THIS IS THE SITUATION

Jan26 - Mgo comes back up
⠀⠀⠀*site is online again but very buggy: missing lists, random logouts, slow pages, no notifications, etc
⠀⠀⠀*this is when the system started gradually restoring lists
WHY IS THE SITE SO BUGGY
- Mgo uses separate parts for different things. One to SAVE your manga data (aka database/the memory), another one to DISPLAY your saved Manga data (aka UI/what you see), and another one for your browser/session data (aka cookies, login state, etc/this also connects the database and ui). When everything is working properly, these three systems stay in sync (eg. when you save a manga, it will show up in your list right away)
The system will communicate with Database, like hey this is the user that logged in go tell UI the things they should display. So Database will tell UI, like hey based on what's given to me, these are the saved data that belongs to this user, these are what you should display. HOWEVER, because of the gradual restoring of lists (which puts a heavy load on the site), the System, UI, and Database are not able to communicate properly, so theyre not in sync. This is why we’re encountering the issues
I DON'T GET NOTIFICATIONS
- since the System, UI, and Database are not in sync, Mgo cant correctly link your acc to your saved mangas so notifs dont show up/update properly. This is temporary and should be fixed when the system is in sync again
WHY DO I KEEP GETTING LOGGED OUT
- Mgo keeps track of your login/session info. But if this isnt tracked properly, Mgo may log you out randomly/repeatedly
WHERE DID MY LIST GO
- Your mangas are not deleted. Theyre still saved in the database. Mgo is gradually restoring everyone’s list from the oldest to most recent marked mangas. Follow this post to get notified about updates: https://www.mangago.me/home/mangatopic/21092806/

- YES. Do note that while your list is coming back, you might notice some things are off:

I ADDED NEW MANGAS TO MY EMPTY LIST, WILL IT OVERWRITE THE OLD ONE
- if you ADD NEW mangas while the site is restoring, your new list will stay. And your original list will be added back on top of it once its fully restored. But if you RE-ADD EXISTING mangas, it will update the original date of when the manga was added, tags, and summaries/little notes you originally had for it. its usually best to wait and let the restoration finish before making lots of changes
WHY DO OTHERS HAVE THEIR MANGAS BACK ALREADY, WHILE MINE IS STILL MISSING
- think of this like we're reading through a giant BOOK of everyone’s manga list, arranged by the exact time each manga was added (aka timestamps). Each timestamp is like a page in the book, and we read them from the oldest timestamps to the newest. Right now, we are reading timestamps from Feb 2022 (as of writing this post), so any timestamp dated later than Feb 2022 wont appear YET
If your lists are still completely EMPTY, there are 2 possible reasons:
One is that its about “activity”, not account age. So even if you joined in 2016, but you didnt add any manga until 2023, your list wont appear until the system reaches the timestamps for 2023. The second reason is, since the system is very busy right now, it sometimes hits a blurry page and has to skip to keep moving. This doesnt mean your data is gone. It just means the system needs to go back for a second run once the "main reading" is done
HOW SOON WILL THEY COMEBACK / WHEN IS THE RESTORATION EXPECTED TO FINISH
- how soon your lists fully comes back depends on how far along we are in the “book” and how many timestamps we still need to read. If yours already started to appear again then thats a good sign. it means your account is already in the queue and the rest should continue to come back (gradually, not all at once)
If theres another run, expect anywhere from a few extra hours to about one extra day. A full second pass could push it to Feb 4–5, but a partial cleanup run would likely finish around Feb 2–3.

- PLEASE WAIT. Do not email the devs yet. The system needs to make several runs to load everyone's data correctly. Most of the current issues should fix themselves after the full restoration process is done. Give it at least 2 weeks from now.
If after everything finishes and youre still seeing clear errors in your marked mangas, report them to [email protected]
If possible, keep a small log of your observations and what you did, such as:
⠀⠀⠀*whether you re-added, edited, or deleted mangas during restoration
⠀⠀⠀*any repeated issues (random logouts, missing notifs, errors, etc.)
⠀⠀⠀*the other specific errors you noticed
Simply put, keep a log of WHAT YOU DID/OBSERVED and WHEN (use GMT or if in your local time, specify your timezone). The more specific your report is, the easier it is for the devs to trace what went wrong. It helps them replicate your actions so they can actually find and fix the problem

So I just finished the novel and i’m in absolute shambles rn… But to anyone worried abt a sad ending, fear not the mc and ml r soooo cute
To anyone wondering when they get together, it happens in like the second to last episode where they enter the black portal and they actually share a brief kiss initiated by Kwon Jihan lolll. Something actually happens right before entering it which i won’t spill unless anyone wants to know but essentially it really triggers Kwon Jihan’s possessive/clingy instinct lollll. Anyways, if u are continuing to read this manhwa just know that there one one hell of a lot of emotional heart wrenching, heart demolishing, heartbreaking, and absolutely shambling plot twists… Anyways, I will leave it at that. Truly this story is one of the best out there and you must read it!!! (Though idk if i have the courage to reread this story in the manhwa form after reading all those tragedies)
this webtoon was so hyped all over socmed that i kinda expected a multi-layered plot riddled with twists, but it was quite simple and light-hearted. ig the people yearn for a refreshing story in a sea of toxic, angsty bl.
both mcs were entertaining & relatable to an extent. i was all for seyeong pushing heejae away at first (bc wtf home invasion). tho upon seeing heejae’s pov, i switched up and started rooting for him. tbh, if seyeong’s internal dilemma prolonged any further, i would’ve been well and truly annoyed with him lol. so i teared up from joy when he finally confessed! i still wish the push and pull had been shorter so there’d be more chapters of them as an actual couple. heejae is MASSIVE GREEN FLAG. i love how he grounds seyeong and stops him from overthinking. and ohhhh, u can clearly see how seyeong gets fonder and falls for him even more. they’re perfect for each other…
lastly, i wouldn’t have enjoyed this series as much as i did if not for the MAJESTIC art. like the artist really made sure heejae had zero bad angles gahaha plus his in-game avatar is gorgeous too. the female character designs were also PEAK.
It’s a manwha where the is a saintess and she has to pick a husband out of three men. The first two end up killing her in some way, and she ends up reincarnating back to the start to choose the last one who is a demon. She believes that a demon would be better than the other two. Ends up going to his area/kingdom and everyone there is demons and she like helps them and raise the value of the kingdom.
