Knot
Oof, “maybe it’s because he was sexually assaulted as a child, it makes me want to assault him” “I see, those other people were unconsciously compelled to harass him”. That’s a WILDLY disgusting conclusion to make. Overall this was a shallow and lifeless story, the characters didn’t feel real and neither did their feelings for each other. Tou’s trauma was hardly explored, I guess it’s a “love cures all” ending. The implication that Tou will forgive his rapist and his bf will support that is just… gross.

PIECE OF SHIT STORY
I'm so mad at the lost time I spent reading this. Uke is unbelievably stupid and naive, like he is constantly being scammed and mistreated yet he just takes it every time. The seme is a POS that thinks he's down-to-earth but really just talks about himself so much that he doesn't understand uke at all. Literally 70 chapters of uke getting beaten down in comically bad ways and when it finally starts changing, uke is still getting thrown around in other peoples directions! He never acts for himself! End of season 2, the author makes it seem like uke is going to commit suicide (he wasn't, fuck you) and so seme + others try to talk him out of it and seme sooo heroically "saves" him. Because of that, uke immediately forgives seme for everything! No fucking discussion of all the ways he's hurt him.
Omega Complex
“You don’t like me, you just like my pheromones”
They’d literally rather stay in love with each other from a distance, not dating other people either, than just try dating……. So stupid.
Our Companionship
I cringed too hard at uke feeding seme bbq in front of everyone, immediate stop. But seriously why have them meet through a videogame if that's not gonna be relevant at all later? And why make seme an attractive, loser gangster who has no friends?? Like they're just throwing tropes together and doing zero character development.
