Dropped at 40, this story is SO ass. Uke’s not a masochist but seme has to be because of the way he keeps following uke no matter how many no’s he hears. It’s such lazy writing. They literally had never met before but suddenly seme finds uke *every* time he’s with another guy and interferes. He doesn’t know a single thing about him yet he’s in love. Uke is so uninterested yet he’s a pushover too and just takes it, even lets seme fuck him cause ~why not I guess~. Just ugh. Uke literally WANTS to be miserable with the way he puts himself in bad situations. I’m not even saying this to victim blame, like he’s just braindead stupid. (Ie, I guess the author thinks if uke has any personal development, then the seme is pointless because he has to be the ~savior~ who fixes ALL of ukes problems. Without that savior complex bs, there’s nothing tying these characters together.)

Arts good but like "manipulating each other" lmfao I can only laugh. They're literally childhood friends who only have eyes for each other but author put an edgy filter over it. The top talks like he has an Evil Master Plan to seduce the bottom but it's literally just.. sharing an apartment and flirting. Ok? Then the bottom thinks he is unique for wanting attention and love; the whole reason he falls for the top is that he's the top's only friend so he can "monopolize his attention" (which he doesn't even do). When they have sex and the bottom says he's so happy, the top is just confused by this because it's not in his Master Plan for the bottom to be in love with him yet. It's the most vanilla, basic misunderstanding trope you could have. The two main characters aren't manipulative, they're just insecure and stupid. Fuck off with these 'psychological' tags.
