Rare occasion of me liking a complicated horribly traumatized story BUT ITS JUST SO GOOD.
The art is pretty, the story is GOOD, the progress is #juststabmeinthebackalready, AND the novel is a must read!
currently at chapter 25 and just started the novel

ALSO why is Cyrile a 15 yr old in this 2nd timeline. I mean I guess a literal 5 yr old wont be able to do much but like what in the hell does the Gods rubric in sending someone back in time like???
I for one think the 5 yr old prince is like in a coma while 15 yr old Cyrile is living his life with Alex. And since that noble of a gun, Alex "future" in laws, might have recognized Cyrile in this recent chapter (ch 14) would be a proof that the prince still exist as a 5 yr old
But like Bianca was sent back as a 19 year old? (Honestly not sure anymore) Rather than the age she originally died (or did she die at the age of 19 too?). So to me its like an inconsistency that in Bianca's case time reverses, while Cyril just transfers to a new timeline. Thats why im questioning shi ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
The thing is, this is a rare manhwa where it’s not regression, reincarnation, or transmigration. It’s time travel. He literally got transported back in time with his current body, even still having the effects of the poison harming his body too.
Just apply knowledge from non-manhwas. Like the movie Back to the future 2, the main character travels to the future, and he’s required to never run into his future self, or else it’d mess things up. Depending on the writer, when it comes to time travel, a person can be in the same timeline with their older/younger self. Though every time, the person who time traveled needs to go back to their og timeline.
Also it’s not really an inconsistency? Two things can exist in the same story lol. Especially when it’s possible for a magical thing to happen, many other magical situations can occur. I’ve seen other stories where a regressor, transmigrator, and reincarnated are included.
Bianca regresses back to a teenager. Before regression, she was at least 30 years old. Cyril time traveled. If you think about it, Bianca’s regression does count as a new timeline too. Because she changes things from the point she regressed. Think of a timeline as a tree. The OG timeline still exists like the main body of a tree, but the regression makes it branch off from the OG timeline and creates an entirely new one.

So an update next week?... Ples
Anyways, this is actually the first in a while where i enjoyed reading a historical manhwa staged in korea in what i usually know as joseon dynasty, though I dont know whether this is also taken place in that era. I was so devastated when the first crown prince died like i was holding on to hope that he'd live and the story is not strictly following the og storyline and in my heart is still hope that he just faked his death for whatever reason . Then Sia's mother... The absolute horror and sadness like the author really took us on a high land then just dropped us to our death in that whole arc of death
I would absolutely love to watch an adaptation of this as, as much as i dont enjoy korean historical manhwas, I love watching historical korean dramas!
