Welp, it’s up to 9.3 now, but I think it might have to do with a few things. A lot of people don’t like the art style going so far to say it looks ai generated, some people aren’t happy about the differences from the novel, some got confused by the plot and dropped it, and it’s only at 11 chapters so far so for those who haven’t read the novel it’s a bit difficult to get a read on the story and how good it will be.

the art and some parts could use some slight work, though I don’t mind it too much after chapter 1, but yeah shld be rated much higher than this. Prob ppl haven’t recognized that shit gonna be fire

Ikr, there's just a whole lack of body types for women. On top of that styles too. Like Reene, you'd think she would wear more conservative clothing, but got see her with her thighs out.

Haaaaa... honestly, you're right. But it's a bit unfortunate that the creators of this manwha interpreted a lot of the female characters that way. In the novel, I always interpreted Reene like a small child wanting constant praise. Just a childish girl waiting praise from a parental figure or older brother.

A lot of the girls in general while reading the novel, I interpreted to look a lot different. The dragonkin of the library was more dragonlike and giant, forget how to spell her name but sin of pride I imagined to be small but have a woman's wrestler's build, the members of Alon's faction (the two duchesses) I imagine wearing beautiful/extravagant gowns that were quite conservative in showing skin because it's the aristocratic world...

But the queen gets a pass tho, she's unironically exactly how I imagined. She's beautiful and they made her look like she finds breathing to be a bit bothersome.

I'll try reading the novel, as I rlly canttt stand SAO style harems, with weird ass girl characters that is obviously for the male gaze. Would rather use my imagination, rather than this sad manhwa that is clearly only for the male gooners.

I also prefer reading the novel too, but I often do go back to see the architecture (and the men ngl) to have a point of reference on how to imagine things (cuz imagine settings can a bit hard for me). Wait real I'm a visual learner, so imagine reading novels. It gets hard, especially when it comes to actions/fantasy stuff, so I tend to read both the manhwa and novel kinda simultaneously LMAO Also, I don't!

Majority of her problems are her fault, but I don't really blame her. She was groomed by her art teacher, made to believe she was special, only to realize that he was just saying that to get her attached. Being 'special' and 'unqiue' is likely her only defense from realizing that she was targeted simply because she was seemingly naive. For me, now it's more pity that I feel for her. (;－.－)

Lwk idk if it's me but it seems easier to sympathize with Subin (eyepatch girl) than Jaemin (orange kid) because we get a lot of context for her character. She kind of reminds you of a cringey kid who wants people to see her in a certain way even if it's in a connotation where she's perceived as weird or unique because she seems to be chasing a feeling of validation from other people. Especially during high school years where everyone's still learning about themselves, and most likely done embarrassing things where they needed to grow from, Subin and the other ppl in her gang are the same way. In my opinion I think Jaemin mad weird. Someone you know is clearly upset and losing her spark. She's getting bullied and feeling alone. She might be a bad day away from becoming suicidal from all that outside stress pressuring her. Jaemin, wanting to impress his crush, like you said, did this whole scheme where he pretends to fw with her and basically uses her by pushing her to do something clearly not healthy for her, just to seem impressive and help his crush. That brownie point got him stuck in a fridge for a minute. Look who's the dumbass now. He so pmo.
