and bingeing instead of reading one chapter a week really threw me in a loop about the flow of the story. yieum is out there investigating the case of a vile rapist and murderer of a teenager while vending of an ml who's a murderer and had sexually assaulted him in the past as well, but this time throw in a more comedic route. like I get it it's fiction but it's a whiplash nonetheless, are we or are we not supposed to be finding sexual assault horrifying within the story's universe, or is it only ok bc ml is attractive/non rough and mc can sorta defend himself?
