Just a useless TMI: The rubbing thing that Leo does to describe kissing is a reference to a scene in a korean movie called "Architecture 101" where the actor Jo Jung Suk teaches how to kiss by using his hands and rubbing it together aggressively in a comedic way (like Leo just did in this chapter). It was a famous movie scene that was a meme in korea. You can search in YouTube "Architecture 101 kiss lesson" and see if you're curious to learn how to kiss, the Leo way
He can lie and not admit it all he wants but he surely did it out of jealousy and his own damn hurt ego. Like Ian said, he targeted Jiwoo's friend for a reason. If he's so sure that he's stronger than him, he could've just kidnapped Jiwoo directly. Both actions will lead to Kayden's fury anyway. But he particularly chose Jisuk so that it'll hurt both Jiwoo and Jiyoung cuz his poor fee fees were crushed. He would be less of a loser if he just admitted that he was jealous but instead he preached this whole grand reasoning about protecting the Ian family. Bullshit if you ask me.
You know I was patient for a few chapters but now I think the author is just farming this for clicks and views. The story doesn't even make sense. I mean, he's still in korea (a place with so much cctv and Internet) and seems to be working in the same city and they couldn't find him for over 6 months ?! I would understand if Taesung is a normal person but he literally has money, influence, manpower and two powerful people backing him. Also, what reason could the grandfather have used to blackmail him?! Haebom doesn't have blood family, Taesung's parents are independent CEOs, Taesung himself runs a independent business, his parents are very supportive...... at this point I would've preferred if Haebom had amnesia because otherwise this would make no sense.
Either the author is in desperate need of money or she's being sadistic and wants to torture the characters. Because I can't believe this is what we got returning to this series after so many years. This ended in such a good note years ago but now it feels like the author is ruining it for rage bait and views
My prediction is that the author continues this rage bait for a few more chapters and gives a bullshit of a reason as to why Haebom left Taesung. Then Taesung will go against his grandfather and convince Haebom to reunite. Still, I can't believe my once believed wholesome romance is now being turned into a crazy soap opera.
Uploader san! May your coffee always be hot, your pillow warm, your AC temperature immaculate, your food delicious, and your bed softer than a baby's hand !!! Thank you for the uploads !!!
This is getting adapted and Kim Seon Ho (from "hometown chachacha" and "can this love be translated?") Is going to play the main lead !!!! I can't wait !!!
I need sweetness and fluff! This arc is so boring, mostly because it doesn't make sense. They keep dragging this issue on and on and honestly ? I'm over it! I'm a South Asian and I know schools don't give a damn about what happens to its students outside of school. So its very difficult for me to relate to this arc when it is clearly forcing the plot.
I'm a South Asian and I have gone through such things like being separated from boys to prevent incidents (even though it was a coed school), prejudice against the whole school because of a couple of students, scrutinised by society because of class differences etc. So while I do get where Toki and Kikyou academy is coming from (especially since they're a girl's school), the reason why I'm feeling mixed is because some things feel realistic while some things don't. The more realistic scenario will be that Kikyou moved to a new area. No prestigious academy will be located next to a "local boys school" in the first place. Also, I can't forgive Toki threatening Kaoru to leave the school and her reason that it was for Kaoru's own good was bullshit. If this was in real life, sure they may expel her (I've seen it happen) but mostly it was because the school didnt want someone to damage their name and cover their own butts if something happened. If we didn't get the forced sob story for Toki sensei then isn't she doing the same thing? Covering her own butt from getting into trouble?
That's why I'm feeling mixed. Either make it realistic or make it dramatic (especially since the build up was pretty dramatic). This odd forced story plot which makes everyone tilt their heads is definitely not it.
I've always imagined that Chika would become a koto craftsman like his grandfather in the future. Just imagine, Satowa will be a famous musician and Chika would be a well known craftsman !! (≧∀≦) They would be such a power couple in the koto world !! Please author-san, let my prediction be true(/TДT)/
I liked this but it isn't one of my favorites After reading some comments, I went into this thinking it would be a fluffy, healthiest green flag relationship romance story but I was wrong in some aspects. Maybe because I binged this in one setting, but i felt like the story was repetitive. The same thing was happening again and again. Like, there would be some cute moments, then they'll have sex, then they get insecure, have a fight, have sex and reunite. Also, their relationship wasn't toxic but it wasn't the healthiest either. Joobin was kind of impulsive and kept testing Yikyung while Yikyung was insecure, emotional and overly dependent on Joobin. I guess its realistic but after a certain point, it became tiresome when you see a couple who have allegedly been together for years but still have the same issues they had when they just started dating. They did start communicating better but I never got that stable steady feeling when you see long term couples till the end.
This is just my personal feelings tho but I would say this had plenty of angst and drama and didn't feel like a cute, fluffy, and mindless romance that is enviable.
Wait.... that's the reason?! Thank god it wasn't the worst case scenario I was imagining but that means Toki is again overreacting right now. She wanted to expel her student because of this reason?! The mental gymnastics of this woman is honestly pitiful, she needs therapy and an ass whooping. She threatened and almost traumatised Waguri because of her own issues.... yeah, I'm mad again. I wanted to give her a chance after seeing everyone around her talk about "the incident" but nope, she just internalised a situation that was out of her control and took what a careless jerk of a parent said to heart. Yeah, she needs therapy and some ass whooping. And the past student's boyfriend even apologised and took responsibility!! What is her problem with chidori then?!
I think my brain short circuited because of the last panel. I knew where the chapter was leading to but still, my flabbers were ghasted.
I liked this manga except for the shitty coworker. What do you mean he doesn't get any consequences for doing a serious crime and almost leading someone to end their life?! Shiro had to take months to just come back from it while that jerk simply bowed his head and said sorry. That's it?! This is one of the many mangas where I've seen shitty people get forgiven easily. Why do manga authors seem to move over serious assault like its nothing?
I love how tsuka sensei went about this. I still don't like Toki sensei but I can feel that she is not a bad person and is ready to change. I like that the author made the characters acknowledge that they are projecting their own fears and mistakes onto the students which is currently making them suffer. That was why I didn't like Toki in the first place, she kept projecting her own experience onto the students. It was like she was punishing them for the mistakes that someone else made in the past. I'm glad Tsuka chan made her realise that and she is taking a step towards the future.
I let this marinate for a long time and read the latest chapter just now but what the heck happened to the art?! The facial features are too sharp and the art style is simple. It's like they drew the base lines and profiles but forgot to smoothen and blend it. It feels too clunky. Am I the only one who thinks this?
I get that the other guy had his reasons but coming so aggressively towards a married woman (especially in that time period) when her husband has made it clear he's uncomfortable with her meeting him alone, he's just a selfish jerk at this point. The only reason I'm not going ballistic is because I want Fuki herself to choose if she wants to talk to him or not. I don't care what his circumstances were, in the end he chose his family over his fiancee. That's what matters. Now that she looks happy and is in a great marriage, he wants to talk to her? Where was he when she was struggling? It's not like they imprisoned him or chained him at his home. If he didn't have the determination to marry her, he should just let her go. If he really wanted Fuki to be happy, he would just let her and himself move on. She's clearly happy now. What more does he want? Anything beyond this is purely for his own selfishness. Yeah, F that guy.
The new villain guy is a f**king snake. I hope he gets done by a Cactus. He really couldn't stand seeing two people happy in love. He digged into each person's insecurities and almost made them break up. You know what, I hope he gets done by 3 cactuses at the same time. The author better not give a redemption arc for the pervert.
