I mean I get what you’re saying, but I also feel that mitsuhikos reaction was actually something that is really important to understand. As a sex worker, ppl tend to call them a whore or a slut and believe that it’s more fine to rape them than it would be to rape anyone else. Mitsuhiko shows just how horrible the life of a sex worker is, to the point that he doesn’t even realize how bad he has it. He’s grown numb to it.
