As much as I loved this story, the writing in the first 15 chapters was so jumpy and didnt flow well at all. Then they finally figured out how to slow down and build suspense just to nuke the main villans plan before she even had time to do anything. THEN HERE COMES MIRROR BROTHER he had zero plans or a reason to come out of the mirror and it was never explained how he ended up there in the first place. OR why he has powers that have some how spread to the top 2 major families for generations. The only thing saving this is how strong the FL is and her relationship with the guild and Ray
If I could use one word to describe this it would be unsatisfying. Specifically peridot being taken out after only TWO schemes that had no major impact on the story after being built up to such a high degree. Then Ibelin not getting a proper epilogue beyond being revealed as a "happy" consort which directly goes against everything she was ranting and raving about to latte because shes literally sharing the princes love with other women! I would've loved to see how her way of thinking evolved or didn't and how she handled the aftermath of that major conversation/fall out with the Duke. One thing I will say that I loved is the slow burn between her and arwin as well as lattes whole "take no bs"personality. It was my main motivator to keep coming back and I'm so happy that most of the people around her ended up with happy endings!
I read spoilers from Bato that after some time, the crown prince realized he doesn't love Ibelin either but she's already pregnant by that time. That's just her karma I guess. Oh and apparently, Arwin removed the prince's memories of Latte when he started showing interest in her. People said the mahwa excluded a lot of events about that. I never actually read the novel so I can't confirm these for sure.
After healing the holy knight and having her powers stabilize enough to heal the dragon why would she not immediately heal Ian?? She knew he would loose himself and become sick/ possibly die AND that he was highly dangerous just walking around under graces influence...
Plot.
Because she was mad at him which is dumb as hell. Like the other 2 male leads literally abandoned Grace after the brainwashing but she wants to act like they're all just naturally assholes that's why they hurt her.
Especially after grace broke the engagement they should've immediately gone to cure him. But nahhh Ian is apparently trash and a bad person for being too weak to resist ancient dark magic that has been poisoning him for months.
