It's okay enough, albeit it's cliche, and the male lead is very emotionally repressed and only helps the fl at the start becomes she's not like other girls. And despite her trauma, she isn't very smart nor does she really do anything on her own, the ml always rushes in to save her. It's a simple read, but I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece.

I actually think different. It's a great read and it's worth it. Is it kinda cliche?- yes. But the way it starts it's different in my opinion. Both FL and the ML suffer from trauma and they're very careful of who they should trust and because of that they can't have a normal human to human relationship. Everything is based on "take and give". Also, in my opinion she's smart because of her 1st life and plus because everyone else from the manhwa says so too lol. She practically knows how some of the people operate so she acts accordingly to that. The only minus is that she's still fragile and needs help from others sometimes, but other than that she's great.

I actually do like the fl I think I worded that differently, and i understand the ml's backstory and there are moments where he's okay but I wish they would've shown more scenes of her being independent and they also fleshed out her trauma more because it rubbed me the wrong way when the fl who had been abused for both of her lives suddenly just started trusting her family just because the ml told her to, and how quickly she falls for him, I would have liked it better if they made it a slow burn but ig they wanted to establish the fact that he was the ml . also the whole killing children and whipping his retainers just because of some gossip also rubbed me the wrong way but I actually really like the fl

I mean the things that rubbed you off is exactly what i was explaining. Because of their trauma they can't have normal human relationships. They don't easily recognise good from bad. And because of that also they can't recognise that they started to like each other's company and started to fall in love. They're still delusional and don't know what's happening, so I'm satisfied. I can agree with the thing about her independence tho. The moment she starts to do something the northern duke intervenes, but i still think that it doesn't take away much from the story since the FL still gets to do what she wants

Yea. I hope in the future they grow and learn together how to live like a normal person. If the story continues and they stay the same I'll be very disappointed, but I hope the author uses this as an opportunity to show how complex relationships and human nature can be and also navigate both of their traumas. I also hope she does eventually get her revenge rather than being "oh I was living off of hatred all this time I'm going to give up revenge and be happy" because that is a trope that has ruined many stories and is really unlikeable. But I'll still continue with this I like the fl and the art lol.

It’s your cliche regression plot, where she wants revenge and in the beginning the author in a dilemma and the ml saves her in the end. She really does not think stuff to the end, most of her actions lead to her getting injured or near death.

I'm not a fan of the ml but what this manhwa does well in my opinion is the fl's trauma and her relationship with her families. Her emotions and thought process feels valid to me. I'm curious to see if she will have good character growth in future chapters.

Yea same. I find the manhwa cliche and I dislike the ml but I really like the fl, I think that's why I get so frustrated when they completely ruin a scene with the ml by making him save her or banter with her for no reason, it feels like the fl has little to no scenes in her own manhwa
