Helpppp I love the older brother’s story so much 。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。 It felt so realistic, you can only imagine how many people actually share a similar experience. Especially with the pressure to behavior and appear a certain way, it’s so easy to develop a sense of superiority and feel trapped in it. But more than that I love the way they expressed his helplessness after realizing that he was wrong, that it wasn’t because he was innately evil, but rather he simply never learned how to truly love and express that love healthily. It’s a similar situation with the purple hair girl, who wanted to keep taehyuk in her life because she felt like she finally met somebody who understood her, that she finally wasn’t alone. But she came to understand what love was supposed to be by adopting a pet - experiencing true UNCONDITIONAL love. I think the author went above and beyond with expressing the complexity of loving others as a reflection of loving yourself.
Lovely male leads but the oldest brother is lowkey pissing me off because why are you such a hater, like I understand being annoyed by younger siblings and their antics, but every scene that has him is him being extremely irritated by the very mention of our MC, like he actually hates the MC. But we know that the MC has a misunderstood backstory so does that mean the older brother never bothered to find out the truth, that his younger brother was just standing up for himself, and not just picking fights? I mean he’s the eldest son of a noble family, finding out info about a child’s fight can’t be hard for a fantasy world that has spy/information organizations? Like bruh maybe it’s jealously over feeling neglected from his parents, and it’s an unhealed inner child kinda moment, but seriously hoping for eldest brother pov before I jump the rails and full on hate his guts
The genius that is the plot…perfect amount of constant angst, it really keeps you on your toes (´°ω°｀)
You know what… I’m proud of Joo-ah, I feel like she learned something through this. People make mistakes, they have eras, but what defines a person is how they change afterward, if they learned something valuable, and Joo-ah has had her moments where I was definitely ROOTING for her downfall, but as a person, she’s definitely grown (unlike kyungmo COUGH COUGH who couldn’t see if he had two left feet). I’ve come to see that she was more a reflection of her fears and environment (idol criticism, etc.), but ultimately she never let it become her identity in the end (like kyungmo did COUGH COUGH you insecure blindsided asshole). She didn’t win the prize, but I think she got something even more valuable - the strength to confront yourself and start walking towards self love.

Helppp I lowkey half agree with her sister, and that’s not to say that I’m not empathetic and I don’t feel bad for the things she went through. But I’m going to be so real and say that having people talk shit behind your back and making shit up is always going to be normal, maybe not the house burning down, but if she really wanted to “make it” in a big city she could’ve stayed at a friend’s place for a bit while she got her money back up (split rent, etc). And then she runs to the altar and says she’s “desperate” and that she’ll do “anything” like babes if you’re going to agree to have sex to fulfill a wish then go through with it, like I can understand feeling fear and hesitation about it but being so wishy washy and back and forth when you already agreed is already annoying enough like you’re clearly not THAT desperate so while I don’t like the attitude of the guy either (absolute jerk for calling her a cunt, like if it was a kink of hers, sure, but clearly not
