Tokyo in April
Haaaaaahhh, honestly I don’t know I’m laughing right now, cursing at the same time…I’m just so unbelievably pissed and upset right now. The miscommunication in this one, I could shout at both of them right now, especially Ren, for being soo soo stupid. I read it on readingmanga so I didn’t see the tragedy tag beforehand but I’d have stayed the freak away if I had seen that, plus it was saying completed which also not true…I just can’t I hate I’m invested now bc this is a whole mess and there’s just so much to unpack about a lot of things there.

I have to say so far I’m not really a fan. It’s interesting so I’ll keep reading it with the hope of their dynamic to change drastically cause I like the double identity trope and I feel like there could be actually some story for both of the characters individually apart from their relationship. I want to see if the uke can at least mend his relationship with his little brother. With the current dynamic though I’m very much disturbed with. Like so far it’s been unhealthy kinda toxic even with this “raising a dog” shit or the fact that the seme is possessive (I wouldn’t even be surprised if the seme had orchestrated the whole thing so that he could do this with uke which is creepy tbh), the sex scene was dub con as well, also why did it have to be written as a condition for the contract, like bro it’s not just that you feel like your selling your body you literally are and all in all I hate when I see couple dynamics were one person is financially and emotionally dependent of another person. And so far this manga has been displaying that kind of dynamic and I hate that. Cause like I wanted to see them talk about how he felt after being ignored by his brother like that but what they did was fuck I guess it’s a coping mechanism but I hope that changes. But yeah it’s honestly surprising really how innocent and wholesome the art looks and then you have this
