I do like the art style being different for the older characters here and Conny is cute as the MC's friend/cousin.
As far as story goes, there's some light drama here and there but nothing to be taken too seriously, pretty nonchalant as the protagonist sees it since things can be handled with enough reason against fools.
On the bright side, nothing too annoying to jerk the story around either I guess.
Only real downside is if the blond knight is the ML, he's not really shown much interaction to warrant us cheering him on.
dad seemed fine as a person but boy is his son cute.
I'd mow his grass patch anyday.
2nd font seems to be more of the norm and is easier on the eyes than the 1st.

decided to read this because of the interesting beginning and it feels weird to cheer on a character who just to just get life over with but with everything going on I'm all for it.

the prince really is cute looking here but if we're only going off of the spoilers for the old Web novel then this is going to be as frustratingly painful as trying to serve a customer who can't make up their mind and is holding up the line with how important that flower garden plot mess gets.
Supposedly there were significant changes from the wn>ln but from taking a peek it does not seem to solve the glaring issues.
Kind of a let down cause I like the art too but if the comic adaption cant overhaul the plot, this story may only be for super masochists and this is coming from me who was fine with reading Abandoned Empress for so long lmao. Guess I'll come back to read the rest whenever the doomed plot finishes.

Tbh it's almost refreshing to see a "brother" character actually portrayed as gross for once.
There's plenty of brother type characters in stories like The Viridescent Crown where the ML and the MC are only related by law and not blood+ both are consenting adults who gradually fell in love and understand the difference between familial and lovers which is fine and then there's this gold example where Cain is proving we can say NAHHH to that.
btw I'm not saying I agree with Cain getting to join the Aria Simp club here cause we should keep that exclusive to dedicated fans only BUT I just think we should beat the shit out of him and rob him while we kick him out
I shouldn't be riled up about this but the number of otherworlder saints getting dropped off feels so inconsistent with how it keeps getting mentioned.
An occurrence of 2 saints at the same time every so often could be interesting plot but Alice and the mc dont look that much different in age and we're going to just drop another 2 random isekai'd sucker into the batch now huh.

what i'm assuming is that alice was NEVER a saint from another world. ann just chose her as a stand in, probably promising her a lot of good things. it was also crazy that they didn't find the saint for a whiiile after a relic located her, so i was theorizing that something happened to the original saint and a fake stepped in for the benefits.. which ended up similar to the plot buuuut the saint herself is the mastermind to the stand in.
