No matter how cute this manga is, I'll never forget how this child was trafficked, dehumanized, and mutilated to be a sex robot for pedophiles. It just sickens me. And I know it's fiction, but the fact that operations probably never ceased (cmiiw) disturbs me. I can't ever see them romantically, and I think even Shindoh can't fully see them as lovers either. The author may have changed with the times and may be trying to compensate by making this fluffy and their relationship less sexual, but it's still so sad what he went through
