The first half is the author indulging in their own porn fetish and the second half is them post nut showing how unfair society is against sex workers and SA victims (especially male ones). Since they wanted to make that statement I wish they didn't choose the porn route to show the assault :/ Kinda undercuts the message there
I've been reading this on and off and skipping some chapters in between Can someone tell me why the ML seems so secretive and what the hell he's hiding on his phone?
Not a novel reader but from what I have read months ago in a spoiler message, he’s being secretive with his phone because he’s caught in a really bad spot with the bottom’s mother.
At the start, the mother actually paid him to befriend the bottom so he wouldn't be lonely. But now, he’s genuinely in love with him. He's hiding his phone because the mother is still contacting him, and he knows if the bottom sees those texts or calls, he'll think their entire relationship was just a paid job and that he was being lied to the whole time. He's basically trying to handle/block the mother in secret so he doesn't break the bottom's trust.
wow, this totally invalidates all that stuff he says to the bottom about “i knew it was you in the beginning cause i remembered you all these years” he straight up lied and was actually told he was there by the mother. AND HE WAS BEING PAYED?? keeping a secret like that for so long is actually grounds for a break up cause let me find out you were lying to me for a year about some shit like that
If Im not wrong (novel readers do correct me please if I’m wrong) it actually started back when Wooyeon was 16 in high school! His mother secretly hired Dohyun as a tutor to monitor Wooyeon's bullying and report back to her. College is where they reunite years later, and Dohyun is super secretive with his phone because he's trying to hide that his mom arranged the tutoring and is still contacting him
It's been so long since i read the novel so I might be remembering wrong but it does not really invalidates all he said. the initial contract ended the moment Yeon went to America since he was only paid to tutor him and report about the bullying back then. he also recognized him immediately after his friend said his name when they bumped the first time. this is what he meant by that line. Also Yeon's mother only contacted him again when he learned Yeon was enrolled in the same university as him and they were interacting again. The driver/butler also relays information to the mother who Yeon was meeting up iirc. before that, there were no contact between the mother and Dohyun when Yeon was in America. she hired another person to do that. He did not even know Yeon was back in Korea until he meet him again. The reason why Yeon's mom still has his contact and can contact him is because she sponsored him during his orphanage days and found him the family that adopted him.
THIS WAS MY ULTIMATE COMFORT MANHWAA I hope season 2 comes soon
Literally the only manhwa I've read these past few months that made me feel warm inside. I've dropped so many series recently but never this one
I love how their relationship developed so gradually. It was such a nice slice of life pace, but it was never boring. It's just two boys falling in love, navigating school, and enjoying a slow, peaceful countryside life. No unnecessary drama, literally just so wholesome
I read the epilogue part of the novel and it shows them 11 years later at 29 years old!! I'm so excited. There's a wedding, and I think there are babies too (I couldn't unlock the last chapter, so I couldn't finish it lol).
Also I love that they broke up once before getting back together. It felt like something that actually happens irl with many long-term couples. Pyo Yoontae was a yearner as expected
I can't wait to see all this in the manhwa
Here u go ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

Is it just me or do their faces look different. They're a lot more angular compared to chapter 1
Bump
Art seems more rushed in a way.
