Unless the manhwa version goes in to side stories, we more than likely won’t see that scene) and it got so much heavy backlash from readers and law enforcement that the author changed the dog to a sex toy. The only reason you’d have read that is if you purposely looked for that specific scene without the sex toy. Or you’re just going off of comments

For me its because I feel like non of them are sane. Killing stalking takes it subject matter very seriously but the characters in this manhwa switch up so fast like nothing ever happened. It forces these funny moments through the banter between characters but you cant really laugh because you just read the mc being literally gang raped in the previous chapter. The tone shift is super abrupt almost like making fun of these very real and traumatic crimes, laughing it off like its nothing.

They won’t add the dog into the manhwa IF that scene itself is even going to be in it at all. They legally aren’t allowed to as beastiality is illegal in a lot of countries including Korea. The novel changed the dog to a sex toy. So if the scenes in the manhwa, it’ll be a sex toy not a dog

I absolutely agree. I like most people read romance manhwa or books just to see the couples lovey dovey moments. But without any backstory to the characters, the story falls flat . This back story is not just Kang Minncheol"s backstory, but also Hae Soo's backstory. If I were in her shoes , I don't think I could never trust another soul no matter what. But she is was braver then me.

I think it serves as a frame of reference to see how much Mincheol has transformed into such an asshole.

It "humanizes"? him. His backstory doesn't serve to justify his actions, just shows the circumstances that led to those actions. Overall I think it makes the story alot more realistic, seeing as how you can see a person in real life making the decisions that Mincheol also makes which makes it unsettling to realize.
