I read somewhere in the comment section that FL is really the duke's daughter. And the pink haired lady is actually the mom.
The duke and the pink haired lady used to be a lovely couple (i dont know how they end up separated, but my guess probably the evil brown hair guy) but in the first timeline where the FL died, the duke did search for his daughter (FL) but it was too late so the duke turn back the time using the sword in exchange of his most precious memory that is the memory of his lover? and his daughter. That's why he didn't remember any of them ╥﹏╥

yes it has bdsm and I am not a fan of it but thru this story I got to understand why some people might like it. it's a really emotional story of two broken adult men navigating lives....it's very mature. I am not generally a fan of these kind of stories but i can't even lie there's something so beautiful here. it has blue undertones in its artstyle and it's such posting thing because the characters are feeling "blue" haha. i love the story (despite it having tropes which are my pet peeves like age gap) but the age gap is well executed, there is a lot of past flashbacks and how they were genuinely intertwined not through fate but mere choices they made that had a butterfly effect.
