When I looked at the preview images about the manga I was hooked, I thought it would be a good story. Then I read the description. And I thought oh classic yaoislop so I'm just gonna turn my brain off and enjoy it. Then I read it and absolutely DESPISED the seme for every single action he took. It's like everytime he gets even the slightest chance to redeem himself he goes out of his way to be a crappier human being, and the fact that the uke forgave him and even tried to make it seem like the uke forgetting him and not being able to contact him is just as bad as all the shit the seme did!?
By the time I actually got to the bunny outfit chapter I couldn't even finish this shit and dropped it (yeah with only chp 12 and the extra chp left)
I don't usually hatewatch/hateread things, if I don't like something I just drop it early. But I was just hoping! Pleading! For it to at least have a satisfying ending. Nooooooope. I honestly wish the story was about uke and class rep, and the seme was just some bitter old ex who gets absolutely wrecked for trying to rape uke. Like, even the existence of class rep was pointless, he was barely used. We could've had him as a love rival, but obviously since it was only 12chps there was no chance of a chase arc or a rivalry arc between semes.
The thing is, seme is not even in the top 20 list of worst semes I've seen, but because the story was trying to be more than yaoislop I hated him more. If it was pure yaoislop I would've been like yeah that's yaoislop for ya, at least the art is good. But no this story was trying to be some emotional forgotten childhood friend to lover story where the only obstacle to true love is a misunderstanding

I never really caught up to the latest chapter before, I usually stop at 40 something and stop reading (not cuz it's bad just cuz I get bored) so I still have a green flag impression of Ido. It's kinda funny seeing everyone getting angry at him when last I checked he was pretty alright (ik it's a regression story and he obviously didn't start off alright and is trying to "correct things" but I didn't expect this extreme of a reaction either)
i also stopped reading at ch 40 and just decided to reread and binge all current chapters and honestly it’s such a unique read i’d recommend catching up if you ever wish to, but probably wait for some more chapters cuz rn it’s at a cliffhanger imo seeing what sejin will do and how they’ll progress further. the latest chapters regarding their first marriage is really different from how they are in this lifetime lol
Dude even in the regressed memories Ido wasn’t that bad, like he acted like a shithead in response to the MC’s continuous miscommunication. Like the ML is waiting for MC to tell him the truth and in response the MC will tell him the last things he wants to hear thinking that’s what he wants to hear!!
Like if we got this from the ML’s POV we’d be on his side bc the things Sejin were doing and saying did not at all reflect on how he actually felt towards Kwon Ido. (Sorry about the rant I’m just annoyed about all the comments I keep reading about how everyone hopes Sejin leaves Ido and that Ido suffers as if most of the things Ido did weren’t valid from his POV or a direct response to Sejin intentionally miscommunicating his feelings/thoughts)
I honestly thought Ido wasn't a bad guy, just a bad lover. It felt like he was a bit neglectful and dismissive but not at all abusive. But if you told me he was just a neurodivergent guy who looks cold on the outside but actually cares about you in his own way I would believe you. Not to mention, while Sejin has an openly neglectful and abusive family that makes us feel bad for him. I feel like Ido's family (specifically grandpa and brother) range from bad to terrible. We clearly are seeing this story from a biased perspective. We might even find new revelations that completely change the way we see Ido.
Yesss!! You perfectly described what I was kind of failing at saying, this story is very biased (like most stories are lol), we understand why Sejin does/says the things that he does (kind of haha) bc we’re looking at the story through his POV.
Kwon Ido doesn’t know any of that (and the things that he does know he uses to try and be a good lover) and even though to us it might seem obvious, to Ido it all probably just looks like Sejin is constantly contradicting himself in both words and actions (thus why he didn’t trust him in the past).
And it's not like we're assuming this. We saw how he does act on what he says. He designed their family home the way he knew Sejin liked. Encouraged him to follow his hobby/childhood dream and learned that Sejin doesn't say everything that's happening to him. When Sejin went back home with a bruise on his cheek. Even though he was trying to protect his "father", Ido knew what was up and didn't feign ignorance and actually did something about it. And again. Other than his sister and neice, we don't know much about his family (from what i remember at least). In fact we see that he has a pretty terrible brother, a grandpa he didn't care much for nor grief, and at the family meetings we do see, it doesn't really scream affection and familial love. I'm not here to victim blame Sejin for not speaking up. Ik it's easier said than done. But to say the entire blame is on Ido rather than the actual terrible people who abused Sejin is kinda dumb. Ido's biggest crime is being ignorant, not malicious. He should've done more and he is doing more now that he has a second chance. I don't think I'm saying anything crazy here.

1) is Nux still the only bottom?
2) are all the characters in the cover (except nox) clones of Owen?
3) are some of them (mainly the black haired one) switches or simply masochist tops?
4) is it worth it to catch up to the latest chapter (currently 101)?
5) are there any big plot points that might shock me that I should be aware of?
