i don’t really like how sumiko writes mitsuki bc it feels too fast and sudden for her to think aya doesn’t like her. like aya's worries make sense bc it's been building up for a while but for mitsuki, she only saw aya not inviting her to the concert once (which aya didn’t do out of fear of mitsuki rejecting her), avoiding sex once, and leaning on shu while drunk once. all of this only happened once, so how did mitsuki jump straight to the worst conclusion??
i feel like she should’ve been more concerned about why aya is avoiding her and just asked what’s wrong, but at the same time mitsuki has her own issues and insecurities so she tends to focus on herself first, which i get. it fits her character but it also feels a bit out of character sometimes. i swear younger mitsuki would’ve been more concerned about aya first before her own feelings.

ok so i just read all the spoilers until the latest one and all I can say is she better off dead than alive idk, that’s like the only good ending for her instead of suffering every second. and Varcas should be affected by it a lot idc if he liked her or was the only one taking care of her because it’s partly his fault for being too cold and not wanting to show emotions to the mc. and let’s not forget how he treated the mc when she was a kid, like he literally let her brother hit her yk the ml could’ve prevented it but he just stood there. also i hope her twin siblings die
i love the manhwa so muchhh, it really brings the novel’s expectations to life and makes it not boring!! idk about you guys, but i read the novel and dropped it midway because it was so boring with the repetitive reactions and all no hate tho
