this is one of the few BL webtoons that actually NEEDS longer s*x scenes. where are the side stories with all smut, all fluff, no plot? I'm not asking for much, 3 side story chapters would be good...
I love the short read since there's less chances for the author to drag out the conflict arc, but damn, they really rushed the physical intimacy development between Inha and Sun-woong. it felt like their inner dialogues took precedence (which is totally NOT a bad thing!) while they were going to pound town, and the f*cking was more of a background noise.
I wish it was more balanced cuz genuine love can also be expressed through good s*x (asexuality aside), especially for a webtoon that aims to portray consensual masochism as a normal sexual preference that no one should be ashamed of.
this might as well have been R15 if they really wanted to focus on the thought processes, and just added more hanging out and dating scenes where Inha and Sun-woong open up and get comfortable with each other.
still loved this though!
Mugyeong is STILL not communicating after 7 years... you'd think he'd try to understand Yohan more, but so far it seems like Yohan's always the one giving, adjusting, and apologizing. a relationship is supposed to involve TWO people (polyamory aside). love is supposed to keep growing from the care and effort put in by BOTH partners.
last time if I remember correctly, Mugyeong mentioned his love grows slower and is less intense compared to Yohan's. I wonder what Mugyeong's excuse is gonna be this time. @Yohan if that boy always makes you cry, you're dating an onion!
I hope everyone reading this webtoon remembers to never settle for less, you deserve someone who loves you just as much as you love them.
I like how Seiichirou doesn't let his emotions get the best of him, especially with Aresh having feelings for him despite their difference in social status not allowing them to be together (for now).
I really HATE reading fantasy/royalty BL stories where the uke is consistently "I can't be with you cuz it will lead to the demise of the entire kingdom!" bullshit especially when the seme has some leverage to make sure that doesn't happen *cough cough* King's Maker *cough cough*
it's also nice to see the plot NOT overshadow the romantic development between the main leads. this manga balances romance with adventure really well, at least with where the story is right now (Vol 4)
anyways, I'm excited to see how this story plays out ^^ I really hope mangaka-sama doesn't drag it out by doing too many conflict arcs and forgetting to work on the romance aspect of the manga...
someone needs to sh**t haesung. he doesn't have to d*e, I just need to see him knocked down a peg so he stops being a pest and learns to focus on himself and mind his own business
I actually don’t think he’s at fault in this situation really. There have left a lot unsaid in the first place, so their relationship was not in a stable place from the start. Haesung was just doing what friends do without knowing the problems that could result in (although the unasked friend lore was a bit unwarranted )
I really hope Euntak and Dojae eventually move abroad so they can be a couple in public without fear my princes deserve to be happy and true to themselves
you have to scroll all the way down to get to the first chapters. The placeholder is only so that (I think) a bot doesn’t upload over Icarus (the person adding the chapters.) The placeholder will eventually get overwritten with the actual chapter when Icarus uploads it so you’ll have to come back check. It will look like you’ve already read it since it’ll be “greyed” out by just click on the chapter to check to see if you’ve read it yet.
why can't Eunseok just talk and explain his thoughts to Cheolmin? yes, Eunseok's feelings are valid, but Cheolmin is not a mind-reader for fuck's sake. every relationship you have in life—friends, co-workers, romantic partners, even your own family—exist because of communication!
Eunseok wants Cheolmin to open up when he won't do the same thing himself. my god!!!$#@&#
one thing realistic about this webtoon is how two ADULT MEN refuse to communicate properly, even when they're about to lose their loved one.
this webtoon better not drag the shit out this. I'd rather they fought over something else, like differences in career goals, work-life balance, who should win in Drag Race, literally ANYTHING else!
