I know we are all used to stepmoms being absolute abusive trash and we are bringing that baggage with us, but if you just look at what the step mom has been doing, she isn't evil, just obnoxious. There is no signs of her physically abusing the MC. she isn't trying to ruin the MC's life or opportunities. Sure she isn't very loving, seems to be a spend thrift, and is pretty fake, but thats about it.
the older sibling is a bit worse (pushing down the staircase, stealing the gloves) so i can see anticipating some problems from her side, but the step mom seems pretty ok with the MC living her best life.
can you really fit a proper meal in a box that small? why is the food box wrapped like a present??
If you missed ch 5 go read it on another website. It makes the story so much better. the amount of hilarius misunderstandings that are happening cannot be explained if you don't read it yourself.
people are hating on the duke but i find him fun. duke is sad about betty but it seems like he also missed being rivals with the mage. I hope the two of them have fun, it seems like they could have been friends.
honestly the kid was my favorite character. i cared more about him than any of the rest of them. i want to see more of his friendship with the little brother.
