i actually js did lol. what I noticed is they moved to a more 3d semi-realistic artstyle. it’s probably gonna look the same, they only js released one chapter.

I see what you mean. The old style did have this really majestic, quiet vibe to it, it felt so elegant and timeless.

But I don't think one is better than the other, y'know? It's just that the story itself has gotten more intense now, and the brighter, more dramatic art fits that perfectly.

It's not that one improved and one got worse, they just speak to different moods the story is going through now.

We all have our own perspectives, and that's totally okay. Everyone sees things differently, so I respect your take.

The artist got overworked and had a miscarriage and possibly other health issues when they worked on roxana.

If anything, it's pretty understandable if her artstyle changed. Heck, continuing to work on this manhwa after going through all those horrible things is a miracle in itself.

Because old one is the DRAMATIC vibe from coloring to the shading. That’s exactly why the new one just felt flat.

Yeah no that’s exactly whyyyy! The artist is like real good and was so extra u can see that from her illustration back then that we didn’t even know how toxic her company behind the scenes. So the downgrade is surprising since I thought she’s in a better workplace now u know? Idkkkk if I’m expressing this properly.

I don't think it's that much of a downgrade tbh. I think you're exaggerating that part.

I'm rereading from the start right now to refresh my memories, and honestly i think the artist draws the faces a bit more consistently in the newer artstyle. They're a bit fuller and rounded.

Just compare how roxana's father looks like in the earlier chapters compared to the recent ones. He looks slimmer in the older artstyle.

3d models were probably used as a guide/support to lessen the burden tbh. Lineart in the older style was sketchy compared to the new one imo.

And i gotta agree with the other person that the recent chapters actually have more dramatic shading and coloring.

And also, just because someone doesn't agree with what you said doesn't mean that they use ai to write comments. Like, people can't be articulate anymore or something? XD

No they said they reset the bones not sure if that means healed or if they realigned the bone fragments. Either way her just getting up and walking on two legs that are probably swollen to double their size is crazy. She definitely has a crazy pain tolerance. Poor girl. ╥﹏╥
