I literally think I would have an easier time trying to read this manga in Japanese than deciphering whatever the fuck the translator is trying to say half the time. A joke or pop-culture reference could be funny if used every now and then (the non-racist ones, at least) but when they try to make a joke out of every single line in the manga it makes it fucking impossible to figure out what anyone is actually saying and it doesn’t even come across as funny, just annoying.
The concept is cool as shit but the storytelling itself was really lacking, and all of the characters were extremely underdeveloped. It did have a nice mystery element to it so that was a redeeming factor, and the author popped off in the last few chapters. HOWEVER my biggest problem with this was that someone decided to censor all of the gore halfway through the manga?? Most people read manga like this almost exclusively for the gore, so idk why some smooth brain decided to start censoring it, and halfway through the story at that. What’s even the point
This story is an amazing webtoon, it’s adorable and spicy as hell and I highly recommend, but it seems like the whoever uploaded this to mangago skipped a few chapters around that 35/36 chapter mark?
