The faces of the characters are pretty but the art feels soulless? No expressions, and lot of 3d modeling
honestly what i noticed is that the art itself is definitely good, it also does blend in well with the 3d modelling mostly, its just that the EYES
they look soulless and that ends up making the characters also kinda like ghosts or smth, like everything else on the face has outline and definition, but suddenly the eyes which should depict a lot are completely filterlike
like even a few outlines on the pupil or even a white dot or two could help them look more expressive, idk thats what i just noticed
I don’t care about the sa regular assault and manipulation bc that’s what this story is. But I wish we had more of what makes them tic. We barely got to see Cesar’s absent mommy issues and Leewon’s daddy issue didn’t get the depth they deserved. Cesar’s relationship with his cousin could have been explored more. It feels like we left right when we were getting to the good part
yeah they're too focused making Caesar a sex god. I find the part of him having sex with 10 people without stopping unnecessary. like making him just having high libido with his cock size is already scary, the way they did in the story just made him feel outlandish.
I was excited when Lee won live is in danger by Leonid. I thought we're gonna learn a bit of a backstory of Caesar and Dimitry. also find it funny how he's going on about hating lee won being "half breed" when he have dark skin. there's a high possibility he is mixed race too so is it inferiority or projection?
There are parts of Russia where people could look like Leewon, enthic groups like Yakuts, and Buryats so I felt that was a projection definitely. I would have loved to know if Dimitry’s own negative experiences growing up might have lead to his idolization of Cesar (who is fully Russian/white). So much wasted potential to explore some deeply flawed individuals!
Narratively I like it. Things are less bright and shiny and cartoonish now that they’re adults. It’s a big difference from the bright days they were able to spend together despite their issues. If the colors start changing gradually once they get back together that’d be great visual storytelling as well

Why are so many newer stories missing summaries. What the hell is this about
Thank you for saying it because it’s so frustrating
Cus the mtl slop makers like kaizen or mythtoons don't really care to add those summaries to mggo. They only care about adding their "translated" chapters.
I wish ai was never available on this scale everyone’s just using it so dumbly. I’d rather have human translations. I feel like you don’t see real scan teams anymore
It's especially frustrating because a lot of nuance is lost this way. I miss seeing the little notes/explanations translators would leave about cultural things for example.
