Basically the story is about a violinist and he met the police chief(?) his "friend" was infatuated about after said friend offed himself.
To be even more specific, uke's age plays a part because the seme only had relationships with people below the age 29 before they died (seme's previous wife and the uke's deceased "friend") he's also only 29.
