I agree that there is no such things as truly original because everything is based on pre-existing ideas.
But you can see if the authors are even bother/making the effort to give a better nuanced take on a tropey story or just making a cheap imitation without challenging the toxic cliches/archetypes and changing the status quo..

I was actually more bothered by the fact that she has to fall in love again with her first love (ex) fiance prince brooding tortured ML who executed her for her sins.
And despite making the decision to let him go for good, she unknowningly develops feelings for the ML's disguise/alter ego and then truly admits she really loves both of him.
I also find it stupid that the dark haired ML falls for FL once she became the virgirnal pure saintlike maiden... （￣へ￣）
Hello and when you mentioned Valentine Kiss I got curious and read some chapters...
I like that the plot is in a more modern fantasy setting but I can't stand count Gray, the dumb evil jealous fake princess, the FL being powerless and practically a caretaker good girl saint true princess and the god who punished her like a cruel stupid greek god king.
I don't dislike the MC but I resent the narrative that a female protagonist with healing powers has to suffer so much abuse, dread, violence, oppressions, blackmails/threats, trials etc.
I noticed that Female Characters always have to suffer for a man so he can be redeemed/reformed or a patriarchal hierchal system/greater cause.
There is the MC called Rubia who had about 100th reincarnations, also reincarnated as a princess, is stronger smarter than Valentine but her power is unfortunately restricted by a deity/system, is also in a soapy situation, annoying obessesive jerks and her ML is easily more superior than her because he is the chosen one with a godlike power.

Spoilerr: i watched the anime but before I did i saw a spoiler about some one dying and I was sad but the wholeee time I thought that ejij was going to die not ashh and when ash was the one who ended up dying I was like WHAAT WHO TF THOUGHT THIS WAS OKAY?!? but over all it was really sad I didn’t cry but it was rlly heartbreaking
and whenever I see videos about it I still get sad so I give it a 9/10 and you want to stay happy I recommend you don’t read it :) (im just kidding read it’s really good, it’s really sad but it’s really good )
