It’s not even a bad story, and the character’s are written well! They’re fun! But the age gap just doesn’t work with this sorta plot. Morally. Like it’s interesting yeah but it would be so cool to know the difference of their relationship they once had in the future vs what they can never have now because the vet should absolutely Not see him as a love interest in the future if he has seen him and perceived him as just a kid. It would’ve been a good bittersweet story if it showed that they never end up together and wow i seriously don’t think they’ll tke that route theyre for sure gonna end up together but how can the vet even. Morally get with him as an adult while being Part of his life while he’s growing up? The start was so good cuz he was like “the hell. Why didnt u say this Years later” and it was so funny. Now he just looks like a groomer that’s waiting for him to come of age i know its not like that and i can tell from the overall tone of the story but its just. Weird.

Most stories that deal with such topics show it realistically and don’t romanticize it so it’s valid to be weirded out by this story and criticize it because it does exactly the opposite of that. I think that the first timeline isn’t going on after she died, rather that (a theory) Nora did something in the 1st timeline that caused Shuli to go back (aka the “2nd timeline ) and the first timeline no longer exists

i think the first timeline did continue after her death. thats just how parallel worlds work. its the same concept with the story "orange". unless they have magic in the story (which nora uses if the theory of him being the reason shuli went back in time is true) it wouldnt make sense for the first timeline to just not exist. thats like destroying an entire universe.
