Without knowing the context, hell, even WITH the context i’d still report the vet to the police if i was that kid’s brother. The age gap is Insane. Vet says “he did everything he can” to get him to stay away but that is Not true. That kid is TEN. Just kick his ass out and call the authorities
As his brother, if i found out this kid SLEPT OVER at a 20 SOMETHING YEAR OLD MAN’S HOUSE, ID BEAT THE HELL OUTTA THE MAN N GET HIM PUT ON THE LIST! And if my kid brother was like oh no u dont get it u see im from the future I WOULD PUT HIS ASS IN A WARD!
And the vet should so know that a relationship like this is abnormal and greatly inappropriate and i know he’s not written to be a pedophile but i cannot wrap my mind around how he can still keep this ambiguous relationship going where the kid is absolutely smitten with him and He could get into legal trouble because people, like the brother, will Rightfully misunderstand the nature of their relationship.
It’s not even a bad story, and the character’s are written well! They’re fun! But the age gap just doesn’t work with this sorta plot. Morally. Like it’s interesting yeah but it would be so cool to know the difference of their relationship they once had in the future vs what they can never have now because the vet should absolutely Not see him as a love interest in the future if he has seen him and perceived him as just a kid. It would’ve been a good bittersweet story if it showed that they never end up together and wow i seriously don’t think they’ll tke that route theyre for sure gonna end up together but how can the vet even. Morally get with him as an adult while being Part of his life while he’s growing up? The start was so good cuz he was like “the hell. Why didnt u say this Years later” and it was so funny. Now he just looks like a groomer that’s waiting for him to come of age i know its not like that and i can tell from the overall tone of the story but its just. Weird.
It used to have such an amazing and unique artstyle now it’s stiff dog water and replicates the other isekai type manhwas
