we know chaejun is 24, seunghyeon is 25, and yuseung is 33. he’s the only one with no age yet.
i think from that alone we can confirm that it was seunghyeon who locked chaejun. but obviously there’s more to that.
my theory is that someone was after chaejun probably since his family is rich or whatever, and seunghyeon tried to protect him. the traumatic experience they both underwent is still unclear to me. like what made the two of them forget what happened there.
seunghyeon still remembers his memory with chaejun up until that point, even though he can’t remember his face. on the other hand, chaejun’s been dreaming his past moments with seunghyeon but thinks that it was just his dream playing with him and he believes he was not in seoul when seunghyeon in his dream was at that age.
i hope taewon and yuseung spice things up for us. like they had something to do with their past (and of course if they have history as well)
they had an argument in chapter 18 where seunghyeon said that chaejun is opposite of his type. chaejun mentioned this again in chapter 40 where someone with a droopy eye and big forehead came up to seunghyeon and he got jealous because he thinks that that was his type. now fast forward to today, i think his uncle fits the supposed seunghyeon’s type so chaejun doesn’t want them right now to meet. unfortunately for him, they did and his uncle is teasing him.
can’t wait to see chaejun hurrying to come back home to get his boyfriend back from his uncle.
he’s probably scared that seunghyeon might find his uncle attractive since he’s probably popular. he’s afraid that seunghyeon would see someone who resembles him but has no conditions or looks “more normal”, like seeing someone better than you. the author has already mentioned that chaejun gets jealous easily so it could happen.
the other thing that might happen is that his uncle already informed chaejun that he knows he’s staying with his partner. chaejun is probably not confident that he will be able to introduce seunghyeon to his uncle without his uncle knowing their relationship. his uncle might be homophobic so that’s another factor to consider, which i hope not. if this is the route we’ll going, i hope the reason is that chaejun just doesn't want seunghyeon to become uncomfortable about someone knowing their relationship.
no words can describe how much i love this couple. they’re my favorite for months now and they have no competition. their chemistry. their love for each other. unbeatable.
can’t wait to see how his reaction will be once he finds out sunwoo is carrying his first grandchild
