the anticipation the author was building for heonjae to kill jingi just for it to be a little comedic(?) is an interesting direction
I mean it's not too much of a surprise since the author have been doing this before too
idk why I had hope the season started off strong with serious undertones
i mean, i felt like it was pretty necessary to treat their backstory seriously regarding the heavy themes, and to come back with the comedic timing to show how stupid the decision heonjae made and how hes so childish, idk the author usually has this surrealist/crazy style going on and had said it in the past authors note
lowkey it has similar dynamics to the main story so its kind of a recap of certain characters relationship
